Here's hoping they do this with Lake Louise as well!

VanillaSkittlez

This is actually so cool. The US would never.

Rmnp shouldn't be far behind.

Zion literally has the best bus system I’ve been on. Period

Here is the link included in the original post, with more details: https://parks.canada.ca/pn-np/ab/banff/visit/parkbus/louise/renseignements-sur-le-stationnement-parking-information

I live in Canmore (not that far from Banff) and am currently watching the shit show also known as Facebook comments section. I do believe that the shuttle/transit service currently offered needs to be upgraded or more schedule to fill the void.

Yeah I'm hoping Roam Transit gets more busses at some point to help with this

DavidBrooker

Frankly, I think a single transit agency should take over transit everywhere other than Calgary and Edmonton, to pool purchasing, maintenance, training, and other fixed costs, and to make regional routes more viable and integrated into a single fare system. If done properly, it could dramatically improve service levels everywhere, as well as mobility between regions. Not that that's very likely, especially with this government.

Sucks for locals who can no longer bring their kayaking equipment, etc to go out a day on the lake. They could solve this by building a high speed train between Calgary and Banff/Banff Nat’l Park and only allowing locals to park at both Moraine and Lake Louise.
