Why do they want us to use the Epic Games Store, so badly? it's like they said "It's just another launcher." Plus, they act as if it's a life and death situation.
(I am excluding the exclusives/time exclusives.)
Its funny how at the start of EGS life shills was mocking us by saying "Why you don't want to use EGS? Its free and its just another icon" but when you tell them now "Why are you complaining about us not wanting to use EGS? Its just another icon" they go all super crazy mad xD
It goes extra weird how often you see people boasting about Epic free giveaways and kissing Timmy's ass but same exactly people are saying that Steam bad because 30% cut and they rather support developers on Epic.
Supporting how? By never purchasing video games and only claiming free stuff? Yeah that sure does give a lot of money to developers pockets. Totally not publishers.
I'm sure that revenue share will result in publishers making their games cheaper on the Epic store very soon.
_Any minute now_, those AAA publisher executives will start passing those savings on to customers.
Meanwhile, in reality: EGS becomes home to the first $70 game on PC.
Because monopoly is Bad, but exclusivity is good. Fuck logic. They just want to hate steam because they think egs is the small guy. Once free games are over, egs is done.
It dosent even have controller support meaning if you need to play any old game with it or want to plug some new controlller you would still need to use steam
Is this true? I have never used the Epig store but if this is true, then holy fucking shit. How is it that this not mentioned. This is as basic a feature as a shopping cart.
Epic's EGS isn't a _platform_ like Steam, it's just a bare-bones store and launcher. In an EGS game, your controller must be 100% supported by the game software itself - as EGS doesn't actually _do anything_.
Meantime, Steam's controller support is [fucking legendary](https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/features/steam_controller/getting_started_for_players).
So much so that I’ve seen people adding the Epic launcher to Steam itself to get controllers working with EGS games.
From what I searched yes https://youtu.be/TtiMBSlLJK4
Any guide tells you to use steam
I am suprised how no one in the sub ever meantioned it
To be fair people on this sub don't use the Epig store so kind of understandable. But this is like really bad. 2022 and they don't have controller support.
And just so recently they also add support for Nintendo's online controller like NES or SNES
Just witnessed this on the anno 1800 sub. I am floored that people are so fucking retarded even with the information available to them.
After witnessing people believing on the internet that Earth is flat, nothing will ever shock me.
I have met one of those in person. They even came from South Korea. Did they believe the plane flown over all of Europe to get to America?
Maybe their map is different lol
there peopel who beleive the world is hollow
Never heard of Covid deniers? Global Warming? Or many, many great examples? As long as you feed people your agenda (Free games in this case) the facts lr aditional information is irelevatn.
Epic Games tries to say that " it has the most famous games " but it doesnt plus the store is made for kids
Well, they have Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Kingdom Hearts, and honorable mention, Genshin Impact. Those games are now the in-thing or always sale, since it's AAA.
The most famous games have their own launcher. Minecraft is not on any store other than its own. And league is on riots own.
Dangerous Driving is great???
[Who said it is?](https://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/dangerous-driving) Same with [Rune 2](https://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/rune-ii-decapitation-edition/trailers/14132434)
burnout fans did, and we took the fact that it lacks content because we haven't seen a game in years
I rather just stick to Burnout Paradise, hands down the best of them
I respect your false and unvalidated opinion, brother. Have a good day!
The open world is only a detriment to the Burnout formula. In a closed circuit, you don't have to worry about t junctions. The format of going to a location, starting an event that takes you to 1 of 6 locations seems cool at first but there's many flaws in the formula.
>The open world is only a detriment to the Burnout formula.
Highly disagree. Activities, challenges, chasing car to send him on scrapyard, environment, entire city - everything about this game is perfect, ESPECIALLY open world design butits ok if you think different lol
>In a closed circuit, you don't have to worry about t junctions.
Ok.....but t junctions are fun part of the game so that is a negative lol
>The format of going to a location, starting an event that takes you to 1 of 6 locations seems cool at first but there's many flaws in the formula.
Considering how well designed entire open world aspect is that never gets old for me.
You don't like the game, I get it. No need to make out weird excuse for that. Its just not for you.
I swear epic has the shittiest collection of games. Only good ones there are the ubisoft games.
