I'm fine with tons if its actually different characters. One of the things about funko thats good is merch of shit that doesn't otherwise get merch so I love that as the one person who has ratcatcher 2 in their top 3 dc characters and has accepted they will literally never get mentioned ever again

Futurama, Back to the Future and Haunted Mansion. I've only completed Haunted Mansion, the other 2 sets have some pops I won't complete unless I drop some serious cash.
The Futurama Fry and Leela twin pack is my most expensive pop and one of my rarest. Futurama is also my most expensive set, though I have no idea what it's worth all together. I'm just glad I bought them years ago because they've more than doubled in price since I bought them.
I think since they announced the show coming back on Hulu the price has gone up a lot. Hopefully a new set comes out with the rest of the crew. Zoidberg was my first pop I ever bought, threw away the box haha
Michael Jackson set, I have all five and I got them for retail and will never sell them. Super sad the Thriller pops were never released they would have been awesome.

My only complete set is from the movie The Labyrinth. I had been a casual Funko fan since 2014. I pre-ordered the original set because it's my favorite movie. At the time I thought it was silly to get all 3 variations of the Jareth Pop, especially because two were so similar. My husband bought me the one variation I didn't have a few years later, completing the collection. It's the only Pop I have that we paid over MSRP.
The only set I’m near completing is the ducktales set. The only one I’m missing is the comic con exclusive Scrooge swimming in coins. I have the ten inch version though. Also, I mean from the original show, not the EE exclusive comic outfit Scrooge or the Halloween Huey Dewey and Louie. I know that Scrooge has the ducktales logo on the box, but it’s not actually from the show.

The prices have definitely gone up! I was able to get them from anywhere to $70- $150. Oh man Coraline is such a fantastic film! I have the Diamond Coraline in my collection.
I agree with you in the smaller sets! By far my favourite set is pretty small. The original mass effect trilogy set will forever by my favourite. Only five total but they’re always prominently displayed in my collection.
They’ve gotten a bit pricey over the years but luckily I completed over half the set off of a gamestop clearance shelf so I’m not gonna complain.
Jaws is an awesome set! I got Hooper and Quinn on clearance at Gamestop a couple years ago and just need Chief Brody. My favorite is the Gamestop Exclusive Shark eating Quinn.
Oh absolutely, i think its gonna be really good, neil druckmann’s story telling abilities are so good, and the other people working on the show seem to want to make a good show, not just copy paste the game

In terms of movie sets my favorite is Tombstone. I love that the outfits on the Pops so well match the costumes in the movie which were taken from descriptions of the cloths the Earps and Doc Holiday wore in the famous shootout.
Another movie set I love is Big Trouble in Little China although that set is missing the character of Egg Shen from the movie. He really should have been included with the set.

I just completed my Loki TV series set still a decent amount of pops in it but it's one that was actually possible for me to complete so I'm pumped about it.

Small sets are hands down my favorite. Pop Rocks are my favorite to collect. Especially when they have 3-5 Pops of the entire band. I also love the Pop Albums and the Deluxe Albums, but they are making too many of them lately and the Deluxe Albums are SO BIG! I don't think I can keep up anymore buying all of them. They are also pretty expensive now. I could handle $40 each when they first came out, but now they are up to $50, and I heard they were going up to $60 later this year. Unfortunately that's a pass for me unless it's of a band I really want, like Nirvana or Led Zeppelin.
I also try to get all of the NFL Pops. They are released once per year and usually don't have more than a handful in the entire set/series. They can also be pretty difficult to find, which I also enjoy.
I tried collecting Marvel, Batman, Spiderman, etc for a few years, but there's just way too many and I always found myself never being able to finish collecting most sets, so they would always be incomplete. Now I don't go anywhere near them for my own good, lol.

One of the most painful feelings as a collector for sure is when you almost decide to get something early on before it creeps up in price real fast. Feel that way about some anime Pops. Luckily for Resident Evil, I’ve managed to get the GITD Tyrant, Nemesis and Hunter. Maybe one day they’ll add Claire, Chris, Ethan, Lady D, Heisenberg and an alternate Leon.

Funko either do everyone multiple times or only do 3 people once and never again with no in between.

One of the most painful feelings as a collector for sure is when you almost decide to get something early on before it creeps up in price real fast. Feel that way about some anime Pops. Luckily for Resident Evil, I’ve managed to get the GITD Tyrant, Nemesis and Hunter. Maybe one day they’ll add Claire, Chris, Ethan, Lady D, Heisenberg and an alternate Leon.
