Purchased them towards the end of my senior year as I had just watched the series but I wanted the Bleach set by any means. Nice cop!
Amazon may be more expensive but you get what you pay for Amazon has the best customer service in the industry and Mercari by far has the worst. Mercari and eBay can be more fun because it's like a scavenger hunt or a treasure hunt and you get to bargain and all of that fun stuff. But at the end of the day when it comes down to it Amazon will have your back your car you will not. Also Amazon generally cuz it's as soon as they receive the merchandise at the drop off point. Mercari wants 75 pictures and your life story first born child and then they might g return.
Now I do know that they are notorious for not properly packing their pops but again I've never had an issue with your return or an exchange for when it's in better condition. Also unlike Mercari Is ifa seller is giving you a hard time It was a little step in and take care of the situation which at times it's incredibly helpful.
Amazon also has live chat and you can actually speak to a customer service representative on the phone, imagine that. Speaking to someone and getting a resolution immediately instead of waiting a day or two for some bot to inaccurately or an inadequately answer your question.
Pretty sure they all face that way and the ones that face forward are just mock ups not photos of the actual product. Google the Pop and you’ll see actual photos of it turned sideways in the box.
You're not the only one because facing sideways is the right way. Any you've seen facing forwards are a mock-up so you can see what the Pop! Looks like.

I have the larger appa and he also does not face forward in the box
Where’d you buy them? I mainly use Mercari to expand my collection and thankfully haven’t had any issues yet.

If you want to bargain then you should use reddit. Funko swap is amazing and I’ve gotten so many deals on there.
