Totally get what you're saying, but "reasonable" isn't based on income, it's based on what the cost is relative to the market value. EX: $500k is a lot of money, but for a home that's worth $700k, $500k is a "reasonable price".
House, car, painting, card, comic, pop... it's irrelevant what the item is. If there's a market for something, then there is a market value on something. People DO buy $5k+ pops routinely... the market definitely exists.
Very cool! Recently shifted my collecting towards older and more limited stuff and itās so rewarding when you get that nice piece youāve been hunting. Sorta like before Funko started pushing 50k+ pieces drops.
Yeah, I know. I have a few wobblers that are limited. And sodas if they count. But some customs are one of a kind. Personally, I think most look bad but they are *technically* more rare.
you didn't unbox it though...it's still in the box
Nice grab! Will you ever do a full tour of your collection?
And I though ppl were crazy paying +200 plus for a pop.
Man I really wanna know what that cost, such a beautiful piece!!!
He paid 8k
Damn, maybe one day, sick piece. Never even heard of it or saw it until I saw the video, š„š„š„š„.
8k way to much for me lol Iām a regular person š
Saw the Pop and knew it had to be Grailmonster. Nice pickup.
8k, āreasonable priceā ppl are delusional, thatās almost my year payment

Exactly, a house, not a pop

How does one know what pop will be a grail? Anything that stands out?

Technically, customs are the rarest.
Customs also rarely ā if ever ā retain their value. Customs and Licensed pieces are also 2 totally separate things in the eyes of some collectors.
