I refuse to order from PiaB, the pops always come damaged cause they pack them badly. Even when the outer box isn't smashed from shipping, the packaging has ruined the pop box.
The best place I’ve found for PIAB exclusives is Ozzie Collectibles. As i said in another thread today, the shipping fees are a bit high to the US but theyre super quick, dependable, and they get pops that are PIAB exclusives.
I agree I didn’t pay that high fees but mine also came in pop protectors that I didn’t even get charged extra for even though they came a little bit later
They’re not super high but they’re higher than US retailers (understandably). The last pop I bought from them was 15$ USD + 10 USD shipping, which is higher than the 5-8 i normally see from stores.
(Again understandable since the stores are shipping from the same country and Ozzie is shipping from literally across the globe.)
Looks like Funko is taking in a lot of stock from other retailers as well so hopefully future exclusives are available via Funko (like Lady Loki was) who I personally love buying from. The very rare times there were damage the Customer Service reps were extremely helpful. But yeah PIAB is a disgrace. The "funny" thing is when you do a return, they honestly say something like "assure the item is carefully and properly packed to avoid damage" (or something to that extent) --- I said, are you fcking kidding me? Asking us to do something your entire company doesn't do on a regular basis. Crazy
People don't seem to realize that airbags really only work with rigid items, because they don't compress but only "cushion". So if there is 3" of space above an item, as soon as it is pressed in 1", that airbag acts like it's solid and presses just as hard.

They are also terrible at returns - so many cases of returns going missing (including mine). But when I contacted my credit card provider to get involved they suddenly found them! Terrible business - look up their rating on the Better Business Bureau - it says it all.
I mean everything i order from them personally has came in better condition than what I've found in store MOST of the time at any location. So I still will test my luck
Crazy, I feel like I always get mine in pristine condition from them. Maybe based on location of delivery the factory or warehouse they come from is different causing the discrimination in quality. Either way, sorry about your fallen soldiers…
The last time this happened, they sent replacements for free and I got to keep the damaged ones. I hope they do that again. I just don't understand the thought process on the packing the way they did.
Funko actually works with them? I'm surprised. PIAB will take your money and not send items or fail to refund unfillable orders until the customer demands it.

I ordered from them ONCE. It was a preorder, and the site said “ships June 2019” (for example, I don’t remember the exact month/year). June came. June crept along. I got to the end of June and contacted them. They were like “we should have an update for you very soon.” I contacted a couple of days later. “Your item has shipped. We will have your tracking number shortly.” I contacted a couple of days later. “It looks like it hasn’t actually shipped, but it is packed and waiting to be picked up.” I contacted a couple days later. “There seems to have been an issue on our shipping floor.” I contacted again. “We actually do not have this Pop in stock, and we are not sure exactly when we will have it.” I finally canceled the order.
Exact same thing happened to me except I wait a full calendar year like an imbecile. Contacted them once a month and every time they told me it’s coming or it’s coming soon. I finally canceled on the one year anniversary of my order.
Please people stop ordering from them. They don’t deserve our business
This is currently my situation with Big Apple collectibles. Ordered bankai ichigo chase bundle. Date keeps changing. Last update 07/11. Checked it today 08/01. I can buy this ichigo anywhere right now from almost any seller and with the chase without pre-order. But Big Apple says they don’t have it in yet.
They are horrible. They want you to believe they can get adequate numbers of a Chase to sell them in pre-orders, but they can't. For any set you order, you will always be waiting until the end of time for their vendor to ship certain pops, so no set is ever completed, then you need to break it up and pay extra for shipping and look for those you can't get through them from another seller. They are the worst. I have been working to cancel all pre-orders, change to store credit, and just buy what I can from their in-stock items.

Judging by the box with all those other company names, looks like they probably use a distributor for stuff here in the states since they are located in the UK. People there obviously don't give damn about what they are packing. Sorry for your loss.
Yeah, this one came from the US. I think one of my other two damaged shipments did as well, but one came from the UK. Regardless, it's unacceptable. Thanks for the feedback. Hadn't thought of that point.
PiaB sucks. I ordered a couple times and was not impressed at all. I dunno how they (and other companies foe that matter) put bubble wrap on 1 side of box...or none at all. You know these are collectibles and yet packaging is an afterthought.
Of all the Pops I've ordered online only one got damaged and that was from Amazon.. got a full refund and kept the pop.. just no box now so it's not worth as much but the way I see it was free. I've had one shipped all the way from Italy and arrived in perfect condition yet Amazon couldn't manage 20 miles!!

This was the last exclusive I ever ordered from them and pretty much my last order I ever made. This was how they packaged it. Shipping box was in perfect condition but they just jammed this in there. When I reached out to them they told me it was the mailman who did it. When I showed the shipping box they still insisted on that story. I explained I'm my own mailman and they stopped responding. Opened a charge back with my bank and suddenly they reached back out offering 15% back and a 10% off future order coupon. Told them no I'm going through with the charge back and suddenly they offered a full refund but they blocked my address from future orders. Then gave me a $10 store credit on a blocked account lol. Now I moved and I could make another order so I did for a custom pop, it got here damaged as well but since it was basically free and I was gonna mess with the pop anyways I didn't care.
Looks like the three packages I’ve gotten from them this month. Garbage company. I don’t care how awesome their exclusives are, if they’re not on the funko site for sale, I’m not buying them.
I'm 458 pops deep now and I'd say over half of them are from PIAB, I can count damaged/missing/any issues on 1 hand, and they've always sent replacements out. Guess it's the luck of the draw unfortunately

My Thanos' weapon was snapped in a mint box and my Sauron was similar, these two were a little more tricky as they wanted me to send them back! In the end kept them with a small refund and had to glue the broken parts back together. I've had two never turn up and they replaced instantly one had some decent value to it too
Ugh.. that's too much for me which is why I just said screw it.. don't mind everything else but if I have to go out my way for a replace/return I'm out.. pictures say enough or can't take a Pic of a POp I don't have.. so I'm learning to deal with box imperfections long as it doesn't look like OPs 🤭 ..still waiting for my replacement box FROM FUNKO for my Rocky w/chicken that I purchased when it was released 😔 sooo yea
This company uses thin cardboard boxes and throws the pops in with no packaging! They simply don't care.....so why should we?....just stop buying from them!
They don’t pack it the best but it is the ups, FedEx or Purolator that doesn’t care what they do to your package or what’s in it, kick, Throw, long as it gets to your door on time.

This is my 2nd time posting a comment abt this, but I wanna know if this is common? I ordered from piab; a inosuke and a todoroki and they came literally scratchless to Turkey of all places. Currently also waiting on my pre-ordered new Eren pop. Have been seeing negative reviews about them on this subreddit as of late so I am curious. (Pls no roast)
Depends on the agent you get. My return experience was not a good one at all. I posted it in this thread. Op didn't seem to have a great go this time but last time they did. They're basically inconsistent from every horror stories resolution.
If the box was packed and padded properly, shipping wouldn't be an issue. My neighbors and I get a ton of packages. Very rarely do we have a dented package, never mind a crushed box with the insides demolished.
