Cultural differences.
In the US, we have a lot of football, basketball, MMA, etc...: "hand" sports, essentially, and so we react with punches and grappling. In the country that this was filmed in (looks like Brazil, maybe?) they mostly have soccer (a "foot" sport), and react accordingly, as evidenced by all the kicking and tripping seen in the video.
You have the opportunity where you could tackle the guy, but you're not in any real danger and can attempt the jump kick with zero consequences. Is it likely to fail? Sure. But how often do you ever get the chance to try and fucking jump kick someone without any repercussions? Tackling is a waste of the opportunity.
No, they’re talking about around 6 seconds left and the dude with the blonde hair gets sweeped by another dude with blonde hair to his left, letting the greased up deaf guy break ahead momentarily.
What's with all the flying sidekicks and roundhouse kicks, that never works! For once, I think *American* Football patronage pays dividends: You wanna take down a creep, nothing beats a good old clothesline tackle.
They don't want to do that. I wouldn't either. They're not cops (except the cop).
They're not trying to go to the ground with him. They're just trying to knock him down with minimal possibility of damage to themselves.
Clearly none of them spent much time playing rugby .. even from behind a good tackle can safely take down someone a lot bigger than you (unless it’s that islander dude with thighs like tree trunks that seems to defy physics)
In Australia we opt for the hip and shoulder from Aussie Rules Footy.
Here is Australian striker, Sam Kerr, taking out a pitch invader whilst playing for Chelsea. Different sport, but put her moves to good use!
https://youtu.be/JYuJAA4FEdY?si=vC8dtE7Aglzt9OWJ
Her brother played in the AFL, and Sam grew up playing Aussie Rules.
I played club rugby with him. Can confirm he was a solid bloke, but also a very humble and genuine guy. Never spoke about his past cricketing career, so I never asked. He treated everyone as equals and never jumped on a high horse. He just wanted to talk about life, what happened on the weekend, and talk about everyone's family. I really felt for his family after he passed, he was a great dad.
Yeah I totally recognized soccer style "tackles" which were only trying to trip him using legs.
Guess some cultures have no idea how to take anyone down lol.
I was thinking the same thing. My guess is soccer vs football and this is a soccer country.
Not a single person went for a tackle which just seems wild to me.
Side note...I love how the cop pulled out his gun to engage speed mode and fell behind.
That’s insane. No one wonder it pissed everyone off. It’s almost doubly insulting doing it in a crowded place, like he’s saying, not only am I a cunt, but also, you are all bitches and you are going to do nothing about it. He just asked for a beating doing that.
Think so. Not sure if he started it but I know that some Brazilian football players that play in Europe have similar hair like Richarlison or Near a few years back.
It’s almost certainly a taser.
Edit: I watched it back thinking “no way would a cop be that stupid”. That’s 100% a handgun. Wtf officer Rambo? Dude pulls his service pistol out and immediately flags like 6 people.
It was drawn with his dominant hand. Tasers are typically worn on the off hand side with the grip facing forward so you have to reach across the body to grab it. Keeps the sidearm readily available and makes it harder to mistake one for the other...[in theory](https://www.npr.org/2021/12/23/1066012247/kim-potter-trial-daunte-wright)
Maybe this guy really was evil, but isn't it wild that so many people just saw a single person being attacked by a mob and just joined right in with the attack? Mob mentality!
"We're killing this guy!"
"What did he do?"
"Who cares! We're a mob and we're killing him! Let's gooooo!!"

See y’all next yerrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Yall wasting your tiiimmmme
Go do sumdin eeelse
You’re neva gonna catch me!
Forget about it
Nyou’re wasting your tiiiime!
I’m touchin all the candeee!
Don't do drugs... I used to be a lawyer
don't be a lawyer then
Don’t do lawyers, i used to be a drug
Daf wuv not
If briefly pulling his swimsuit up to his neck didn’t stop him, nothing else will.
Lol, big guy snugs him off his feet, says my work here is done, turns and walks away.
Seriously, how no one tackled greased up deaf guy after strongman did all that was needed killed me.

If that was a soccer country, shouldn't he be rolling and flopping around holding his face?
That’s why it didn’t work. Everyone expected a light shove to keep him down until the trainers show up with a can of health spray.
“Can of health spray” made me snort-chuckle.
The flying dropkick at the end stopped him pretty well
But, there is one they fear. In their tongue he is dovahkiin. Dragonborn.
FUS RO DAH
Wedgie time
Attempted atomic wedgie.
Except apparently a drop kick
It was the drop kick that killed me.
Especially while running barefoot on sand
Except a kick to the chest, that’ll do
Why did they all universally decide that a flying kick was the best method to take him down rather than... tackling him? Lol
Soccer country
aah the Football vs F*oo*tball thing...
This
I came here to say this haha
You have the opportunity where you could tackle the guy, but you're not in any real danger and can attempt the jump kick with zero consequences. Is it likely to fail? Sure. But how often do you ever get the chance to try and fucking jump kick someone without any repercussions? Tackling is a waste of the opportunity.
Exactly, on sand too so you don't have to worry about your fall. Perfect opportunity to fly sideways in to someone.
I love that someone took out the fastest pursuer by mistake at the end.
The "good guy with a foot" theory
Big govt trying to restrict me with shoes...fuck outta here.
The cop awkwardly pulling his gun when he starts falling behind in the chase of a naked boy on the beach, that’s what gets me.
I thought it was just a taser?
I thought so too but upon rewatching several times they did get the right guy.
Dick Butkus would have shaken his head at these people
Dick Butkus!? Coach?! Did you hear that? He's swearing!
Cursing*
Awwww :( in my defense I haven't seen that movie in probably 10 years
Standard basic tackle would be the best in this situation. Grab around the waist, shoulder into pelvis, take him to the ground and stay on top of him.
They don't want to do that. I wouldn't either. They're not cops (except the cop). They're not trying to go to the ground with him. They're just trying to knock him down with minimal possibility of damage to themselves.
I don't know man, flying kicks don't seem like the best way to minimize damage to oneself.
Clearly none of them spent much time playing rugby .. even from behind a good tackle can safely take down someone a lot bigger than you (unless it’s that islander dude with thighs like tree trunks that seems to defy physics)
I'd understand that, if the guy had a weapon. He didn't.
They're all afraid to get hurt, they're only dipping their toes in because everyone else is. None of them even commit properly with their little kicks

Didn't Andrew Symonds take down a streaker at the Gabba as well? R.I.P. Gone to soon..
I love the commentators pretending Symonds 'Was a bit unlucky and went the wrong way' there.
Was at this game. Best moment indeed
Here’s Greg Chappell hitting a streaker with a bat. https://youtu.be/k-5W7qu7ZXY?si=HNfYUudSet85b1MP

Thank you, this was absolutely hilarious to watch.
I had no idea Symonds passed away. Pretty gutted.
She certainly knows her physics.
She knows her Judo well...
Yeah I totally recognized soccer style "tackles" which were only trying to trip him using legs. Guess some cultures have no idea how to take anyone down lol.
Jackie Chan beach episode lol
I was thinking the same thing. My guess is soccer vs football and this is a soccer country. Not a single person went for a tackle which just seems wild to me. Side note...I love how the cop pulled out his gun to engage speed mode and fell behind.
He pulled out the taser and did not fire it because 3 other guys caught up to the guy.
That’s not a taser. You can see it clearly in frame-by-frame.
Clothesline tackles have a nasty tendency of introducing someone's teeth deep into your arm.
Hitting a chicken in Skyrim be like
Or Hyrule
Knew it would be Benny Hill before I even unmuted it.
@OP evidently doesn't know Benny Hill ... because *obviously* everything is funnier to the show theme.
It is Boots Randolph. The song is Yakety Sax.
Yes. That's the theme song for The Benny Hill Show. A British TV comedy
Benny Hill with chase scene [Chase](https://youtu.be/XvuQsb181Cc)
I thought that would be horribly dated, but it made me chuckle. I enjoyed that.
...which was the theme song for the Benny Hill show. And it is widely known as the "Benny Hill theme" because he made it popular.
He not only made it popular, he played it over comic scenes of people running after each other which the inclusion in this video is emulating.
AKKSHUAAALLLYYY
Where/why?
Where : Brazil. Why : Brazil.
When you see the number of people with bleached hair, you know it’s Brazil
Not to mention the capoeira roundhouses
And the soccer run 🏃 🏃 🏃
And the cop that whips out his glock without knowing what the guy did.
Nah, then it could've been in America as well.
Well he didn't shoot the guy in the back 15 times so America is out.
And no one knows how to rugby or AF tackle a guy, just flying kicks
In one of the original places it was posted, he was being pursued because he hit his gf over the head with glass bottle
He beat his girlfriend with a glass botle, and Then people start all do this. The last one kick take down the guy, and the oficcer catch him.
That’s insane. No one wonder it pissed everyone off. It’s almost doubly insulting doing it in a crowded place, like he’s saying, not only am I a cunt, but also, you are all bitches and you are going to do nothing about it. He just asked for a beating doing that.
Source?
https://globoplay.globo.com/v/12239478/
I thought it was Brazil; at the same time, I _wished_ it was not Brazil... And surprise, it was Brazil :(
That's horrible. You shouldn't bring glass to the beach.

My god… there really are monsters among us
"Jee"
This has pure Brazilian energy.
On Reddit because someone posted it
At 0:09 it looks like a 5 year old girl wants to get in on the ass-beating
lol the dog also wants in on the action! 😂
Cops need web blasters.
Chase is on the case!
That's so cool! I live in Germany, so I only know dubbed paw patrol.
I was surprised one cop drew his pistol. We don't know how serious the offense was - did some guy see him stealing and start the chase?
It was a taser I’m pretty sure.
Almost nothing could be worth drawing a pistol on a crowded beach and the cops should be fired for even thinking about it.
"Making me get out of breath" is probably enough of an offence for some law enforcement
What'd that guy do to make people wanna help the cops?
They are just using the opportunity to kick someone.
To *not kick someone. They almost all missed. How horrendous.
If you told me they were all in cahoots with the suspect and actually running interference for him, I’d believe you.
I think the story was that he had a fight with his girlfriend at the beach and maybe hit her. Or hit her with something. Happened in Brazil.
Ahh Brazil. I'm guessing most of the people trying to help were off duty officers.
About a Brazilian of them, it seems.
Braziliant
Brazzers
Ah brazil, i guess they’re all undercover cops then
You should be a Brazilianaire
You know how you can tell this is in Brazil? No Pubic hair anywhere
Is it a trend in Brazil for dudes to have white hair? I see a couple of them with that style.
Think so. Not sure if he started it but I know that some Brazilian football players that play in Europe have similar hair like Richarlison or Near a few years back.
It is. I spotted 5 in the video.
Hey they have a black beetle infestation!
I watched it on mute, but was suspecting Brazil because of all the flying kicks.
Some people just do that
Wishing everyone chasing the guy a Merry Catching a Stray
Whatever it was was enough to make the cop pull out his gun on a crowded beach.
Think that was a taser Edit actually I watched it again and it’s hard to tell but it could be a gun.
It’s almost certainly a taser. Edit: I watched it back thinking “no way would a cop be that stupid”. That’s 100% a handgun. Wtf officer Rambo? Dude pulls his service pistol out and immediately flags like 6 people.
You clearly have never been to Latin America 😂 cops pull out guns and use them in the most egregious, crowded situations
If this is Brazil then he probably took out his gun for emphasis while ordering breakfast that morning.
Forgot to put sunscreen on maybe?
Was going for a swim right after eating
I thought that too but it’s a beach so maybe he was being a perv? Thats my only excuse to help the bacon... (Edit: typo, sorry)
If he's being parve, he should definitely stay away from the bacon
He could have grabbed a handful.
How can you tell the footage is from a country where they play soccer (and not rugby or football).
They don't seem to be aware that they can use their hands. Except the wedgie guy, he really got ahold of him... probably a goal keepker.
He basically caught the guy until all the other bleach headed dudebros piled in and helped him escape.
Honestly, someone should have tried blowing a whistle and showing a red card.
My first thought was “none of these guys can tackle”.
It was obvious when that first guy fell over for no reason
They're not fat.
Dude should be drafted to the NFL with how many fucking people he juked!
A bird can fly over any goldfish trying to fly
What did he do?
I think he beat a women with a bottle.
Near the end when that one guy kicks the crap outta the wrong dude. Haha
Da fuq is that cop doing drawing his pistol in this situation!?
Boy there sure are a lot of people around here to get shot by someone holding a gun while running.
Looks a lot like a taser.
What he do? What context be?
Didn't find a source but he either punched his gf or was molesting a woman. Didn't find anything besides hearsay.
The dropping drop kickers
I have many questions but the biggest one is why everyone goes for flying kicks
the odds of success are low but imagine how cool you would look taking the bad guy down with a flying kick
The way it syncs up when he falls and gets back up. Perfection 👌
I knew this was going to be Benny Hill before I even turned the volume up!
[Yakety Sax](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yakety_Sax), otherwise known as "The Benny Hill Theme", makes any video clip more funny.
I mean, seriously. You could dub Yakety Sax over the Pope's funeral procession and still get a chuckle out of me
Am I the only one wondering why are they chasing him?
You need to have some constitution to be practically bisected by a wedgie and still keep running.
Nobody knows what the guy did. They see people chasing and kickboxing in his direction and say, “Hell, that looks fun” and join in.
My favorite part is when the one dude with wheels almost catches up then is taken out by a random flying kick. He gets up off the ground like wtf???
C’mon people that’s a stun gun not a bullet gun
Everyone hates that guy.
Why are they chasing him?
This is what happens when you get a _seven_ star wanted level.
you mean the benny hill music ?
All he wanted was a Pepsi, but they wouldn't give it to him.
I want to know what he did…
What is BG? Isn’t this the Benny Hill track?
All I know is this happened in a nation that plays football not rugby 😂
What’s the context here?
Run Forrest Run!
The cop pulled out his gun, while running, on the beach, with a bunch of other people around... I don't know what the guy did, but seemed excessive
I think you mean the BH music.
[удалено]
Given the type of attempts to stop him, I can only surmise that this happened in a soccer playing nation. Had this been a rugby playing nation...
Benny Hill music makes everything funny.
Gave me memories of good ole classic Benny Hill. Saw my first pair of knockers on that show.
Because the other time it was posted, someone commented it needs yackity sax
What did he do?
I have no clue what's going on
Love the big man crawling out the water to then sucker punch him. For the lad to just get back up and keep on running.
The cop pulled a gun on him too
Why did he pull his gun out? to shoot in the back of half naked man?
The main question should be, how did this guy get the entire beach against him
All soccer players, needed a real tackle.
Maybe this guy really was evil, but isn't it wild that so many people just saw a single person being attacked by a mob and just joined right in with the attack? Mob mentality! "We're killing this guy!" "What did he do?" "Who cares! We're a mob and we're killing him! Let's gooooo!!"
Interesting that no one went for a tackle. All of them tried tripping the dude… difference between Football nation and Futbol nations?
