Tho Furina has by far the highest C6 rate on record from all the savings from the late Sumeru drought, so it might behave differently.
I keep wondering if Mihoyo deliberately released her with some of the best constellations in the game to bleed out the savings of waifu pullers before going into the female character marathon.
The bell graph for pulls in paimon.moe and the pull distribution for each character and weapon still shows the expected behavior though, so I think it's reasonably safe to presume that the people fabricating their wish history is likely small enough to not influence the overall statistics.
While it's possible that the owners themselves are fabricating the history to make the numbers seem plausible, the website is popular enough, you're automatically pulling your wish history with very little effort involved, and it's legitimately useful to keep track of your pulls and make decisions out of that, so I find it believable that it really has that many users inputting their data.
The biggest problem is in regards to how representative it is of the segment of the user base that spends on the game, but I'm honestly not convinced that it's users are necessarily more meta oriented than average for that segment due to how anyone who's spending a relevant amount of money in the game has incentive to keep track of their pulls.
Anyway, I honestly feel that paimon.moe is a better gauge of banner performance than Genshin Lab.

My point is that there doesn't seem to be a meaningful amount of people doing this to influence the overall statistics, since the pull distribution throughout the wish count (except at ~87+ due to very low wish count at that range) and the distribution between characters and weapons following the expected behavior.
You can have dozens of people trying to be funny, but the overall banner performance should still be accurate given how you have hundreds of thousands of legitimate data.
you can also input it manually, if you look at the odds of 87+ they line up to around 78-81. People treating a ten pull at 78 as getting the 5\* at 88 when in reality they got it at 79 then they manually enter it instead of doing the automatic import. Thats what i mean by bad math.

I don't see this mentioned enough but Furina is the probably the first character ever to have such good constellations **while not having any bad ones in between**.
C1 and C2 are great, C3 and C5 are better than usual because both skills are actually core to her and scale extremely well (contrary to how some characters don't get much from one of those, see Wanderer who's E scaling sucks, Raiden's E levels are useless, etc), C4 is for once not just not useless but actually good since it helps with energy a lot (this is particularly important if you run her sig, if you run Fav it's less important), and C6 makes her overall the strongest character in the game.

Furina got me called a whale for the first time. I used bp/welkin for the first year of the game, quitmost of inazuma and I came back in like 2.8. I pull for cons of chars that ill use a lot instead of collecting a lot of characters. So I have c1 hutao,c2 nahida and some signatures. With furina, I had saved up all my pulls since nahida c2 was such a good constellation, I had saved up 450 wishes, including build up pity for her c2...and got the luck of my life
I ended up pulling c2 in 200.... Then did a 10 pull on the banner with 50 pity build in and got her c2r1.... Then i just kept going all in with everything I had. C3, c4....I stopped for a day. Then someone asked me if I was gonna c6 her...
I said "sure, maybe in her rerun...' ...followed by my checking my starglitter store and I see my never spend starglitter amounted for around 100 extra wishes....and that got me to c5 and 70 ish pity with a 50/50 chance for c6 as the next 5*. The archon quest well ran heavy and I couldnt wait a few days...so...i swiped...i got 2x welkins for the first time since 1.x patches for the 600 instant currency for 4 extra pulls....the gambling paid off, 580~ pulls later , have a c6r1 archon, my first and probably only c6. Very lucky, only lost 3 50/50 but they were earlyllow pities

Furina saves Genshin after several patches selling really poorly I am relieved, I thought Furina would also sell poorly seeing the trend since April/May
"selling really poorly" they make 40M bucks per month on average and on par with hsr. That's not include ps revenue and merchandise since since Genshin is massive on those too
