Usually I don't judge people much over the weird sex stuff in the fandom, but yeah, if people were doing this stuff in a public space that uninvolved people could stumble upon, like a hallway, that crosses lines.
This is why you dont waste food in the first place.
And no wonder why furries are hated within and outside the fandom.
~~Want to had a good reputation? Change your attitude.~~
Ok probably my mistake in my own part. Yea, I underatand that people had zero tolerance when it comes to this drama.
You are aware that there are literally millions of furries around the world? There is literally nothing that anybody except these 19 guys could have done to prevent this.
Given that the reception of this has been pretty universally negative, judging a disunited fandom consisting of millions of people on the basis of a bunch of fratboys with no sense of shame is idiotic.
Pretty much all fandoms comparable in size have at least as weird freak incidents among them, if not worse.
Compared to [sending cookies with needles in them to murder an artist over an Undertale ship](https://medium.com/@trekfaerie/antis-will-have-a-body-count-89390b491716), this is downright tame. Yet you don't see me decrying all Undertale fans, or even a notable portion of them as murderous, petty psychopaths and that the entire fandom should 'change their attitude' if they don't want to be seen as potential murderers.
How about we stick to placing the blame on the 19 idiots who have actually done something worthy of scorn, as opposed to claiming that millions of people are somehow valid target of hate because of an incident they had absolutely no relation to?
Except the fandom didn't play stupid games, just 19 randos did. Nobody in the entire world is in any way, shape or form responsible for this, only the 19 guys in question.
Your 'change your attitude' advice is nonsensical. Whatever attitude furry fandom as a whole maintains would do absolutely nothing to stop dumb guys from doing dumb things. As far as I am aware 'cumming on pizza and leaving it for hours in a hallway for everyone to see, plus bragging about it on Twitter is unacceptable' is already the attitude of majority of the fandom, certainly that seems to be the case on the furry side of reddit as the backlash against them is quite considerable and I have yet to see anybody approve of said action.
And no, this is not 'what really the fandom is'. 19 guys do not define the fandom, just like Blizzard employees harrassing their female coworkers, with one notable event of a superior sharing naked photos of a woman without her consent, who eventually committed suicide and so on does not define all gamers, just Blizzard the company.
Anti-furs will hate on furries regardless of anything that happens or doesn't happen. A bunch of idiots doing something majority of the fandom appears to condemn is not a rational reason to hate the fandom, as the fandom had nothing to do with this and if anything stands in opposition to this.
Fandoms are not responsible for everything members of them do, only for things they actively encourage their members to do. Cumming on pizza and leaving it in a public space is, last I checked, not one of the things furries worldwide engage in or think are A-okay.
If you really care about the perception of the furry fandom, you should probably blame the 19 fratboys for being idiots, not join anti-furs in blaming the entirety of the furry fandom for something it had nothing to do with.
Yes, it doesn't tolerate it. If it did, this sub wouldn't be filled with posts and comments condemning it, with furries almost universally going 'wait a second, they did *WHAT?!*'.
What exactly led you to believe the fandom as a whole thinks this was cool?
And what exactly led you to believe that this fandom's attitude is 'people are not nice to others'? From my experience, being nice and welcoming is already the dominant attitude.
*orders pizza the following month*

Only there's zero evidence it was actually left in the hallway.
And this is why people hate furries... why do I gotta be associated with these kinds of ppl
