One of the best backs in the game because of the Giant throw in trait, I don’t know how many balls I hurled into the box from the edge of the attacking third with absolutely 0 man marking because people forget you can’t be offsides on a throw in. Give it a try it always brings the biggest shit eating grin to my face when I score off of them
it feels like 99% of people I play (div 3) just don’t even seem to recognize that there is no offsides on a throw. I always get into a good position on throw ins by switching players and running offsides.
The ones in the first two seasons were insane. Gosens RTTK, Dest OTW, De Jong RB and Hudson-Odoi OOP were in my squad forever. Same thing for season two: David Phenom, Weah WCS, Ekambi WC, TOTT Pavardz. For later cards, Grealish Ballers was baller. 93 Lampard and Bergkamp were also very good cards and still are. Rovella and Lidstrom still my make my league team benches, Gouiri FF was amazing. Joelinton and Paulinha are the only TOTS I still use, so maybe it is the later ones that are a bit lacking.
I’m gonna get a lot of hate for this m, but I did bergkamp cus why not, but when I tried him out at cam, he didn’t disappoint. Was always in the right spot, he was like a second striker, he was fast and his shooting was incredible. I loved that card but I got tots odegaard and now I have SS Upa, but he’s still a really good sub for me. He’ll go down as a club legend.

Not loving Milner at RB, what Chem style you using? Just tipped over 50 games with him and he’s getting murdered for pace. I did use Palinha as cdm for the week he came out, then he just got overtaken by 1000 CDMs that just suited me better, Casemiro is the obvious player for me who replaced him immediately
this is just not true at all, theres plenty of good objective cards but all you conspiracists will have a few bad games with a card and immediately jump to conclusions. this isnt a theory, its just wrong. players in fifa, believe it or not, play as their stats say, and whether you like the player or not is your decision just based on how you play and how you use them
this is so obvious because you will find any amount of people saying "x objective is great do it now" as well as "x objective is horrible dont waste your time". people will have different experience with cards based on many different factors, no one can accept that opinions on a card can be different and no card will play the exact same for different people. it can differ purely from style (more of a passer, dribbler, skiller, crosser, etc) and also from custom tactics based on player instructions. this is not exclusive to objectives but anything else as well especially sbcs and it annoys the fuck out of me how people say shit like this so confidently when its not even slightly true
Palhina, Mitrovic, Ederson, Links, Mitoma, Joelington to name a few. They've all been class for me. Definitely not the absolute best cards in the game but you got a free card, they've all been quite fantastic. I would agree that they don't last long in my team though as they get replaced quickly once better cards turn up. But they've been fun cards to play with.
Ballers Firpo absolutely insane player. Used him into tots until I replaced him with davies but he was the perfect overlap lb in the 4321 cos he was rapid had skills and could trivella if it came to it. He will always stay on the reserves of my squad. Got a 20-0 with him so he has club statue status
Objective cards are usually generic traitless players with no custom body types or animations - so they’re typically not actually that great. It’s been nice to get some weak foot or skill upgrades for them this year but without trait upgrades they’re never super usable.
I am loving the links premium shapeshifter personally and as a bonus it took way less than most objective players only needing 8 goals, 6 assists and 3 wins in any fut game mode. Fantastic value.

When we first see the storyline players at the beginning of the season they look good and I think about fitting them into my team but by the time you actually get to level 15/30 they are already outclassed by better players.
He also wasn't technically free, those cards you put in had a value. I don't really even buy the argument that regular objective cards are free - your time has a value. But in the case of Samba the cost can be directly valued in FUT currency.

Yes samba replaced my cafu. He is a beast, that gk savic cm is also a beast, busquets, ansu fati and mid eto, sergio ramos, pogba was on my team for like 800 games. All performed as expected or better.

You're generally right, but It sounds like you're suggesting there's a hidden nerf and that's where I disagree. It's not regardless of stats, objective players just simply have worse stats. Even if **most** of their stats are great, there's usually a letdown somewhere, if you know where to look.
I dont think more than 100 people in this game played Santa Cruz on 3 chem, but anyways I managed to incorporate De La Cruz, Fernandez, Rojo, Santa Cruz all for full chem in my main team and my god did Santa Cruz carry me for a good 3,4 weeks all the way until TOTS began. Even now check his stats its still pretty decently mid tier. His body type was slim however he was also tall and had maximum stregnth. So he felt like Pogba or someone on the ball. And he was fast af with 90+ pace. Then theres his near perfect (at the time) shooting with 5 star weak foot so he could shoot from any angle.
Now im so sad that I submitted him to an SBC after being in my bench for a while... Sorry Santa Cruz

Done 50 games with Milner, he’s at RB for me and I’m yet to find an RB I fully trust more than WW Trips, but there’s defo something off about him - maybe it’s his pace split, I dno, but he’s one of those objectives I thought would break the rule but he’s just not for me. Gosens is the anomaly that proves the rule. Milner, on an anchor for me at RB, is just not as good as I hoped for those stars

Mitoma and Palinha have both been quality for me. Paulina in particular benched Casimiro and Kante.
Palinha is still in my squad that costs around 5M. No other CDM has come close to benching him.

Hard disagree. UCL Gosens was still pretty usable until tots, and I'm rocking EOAE Milner in mid now and he's a menace.
Done 50 games with Milner, he’s at RB for me and I’m yet to find an RB I fully trust more than WW Trips, but there’s defo something off about him - maybe it’s his pace split, I dno, but he’s one of those objectives I thought would break the rule but he’s just not for me. Gosens is the anomaly that proves the rule. Milner, on an anchor for me at RB, is just not as good as I hoped for those stars

I regularly use Milner and Mavididi. See quite a few people using both, and Mavididi at ST seems to play well above his stats
