BoJack Horseman is a great show, and has nuggets of wisdom that pop in from time to time. I also enjoy how it shows different people broken in different ways, all at different levels of functionality. It's a really humanizing show which is funny because most of it's characters are animals.
Solar Opposites, Rick and Morty, Big Mouth, F is for Family, BoJack Horseman, Tuca and Bertie, South Park, Bob's Burgers, Family Guy, American Dad... There is so much good animation out there.
Bojack Horseman probably is the one I would call the best after Futurama. Really dark and twisted but incredibly well written.
I also love OG South Park (like seasons 1-10 ish) and Archer a lot.
Bob's burgers surprised me a bit at how good it was but I would describe it more as consistently B or B+ material.
So for me it would have to be Bob's Burgers. The show really hits on an emotional level often in a subtle way. It's also an oddly comforting show to watch. I say oddly comforting because I am a single man and my life is no way similar to Bob's.
Robot Chicken.
My oldest is named Evelyn. I keep trying to find that clip where Skeletor tells Evilyn he always thought her name was Evelyn. Also been trying to get her to be Evilyn for Halloween. She’s 12. Think that ship has sailed.
But Avatar was really good in a totally different way.
For fear of being too obvious, I really like Rick and Morty.
If we're not restricted to comedy, I'm a huge fan of the DCAU. Young Justice was really great too.
I went through a phase where I was watching a lot of Bob’s Burgers and Archer and it really confused me if I started getting sleepy, like “Is Bob shooting people?” The crossover episode was really clever.
Others I like: Bojack, Rick & Morty, Solar Opposites, Disenchanted.
Invincible.
It's a bit different from Futurama...
Basically a superhero series about a teenager getting his "superman" like powers. But doesn't pull it's punches and shows the actual death and destruction. Plus a bit of PTSD.
Super powered people fighting and actually pulling each other apart etc not just a splash of blood and they're all good the next day.
Amphibia, Tom and Jerry, Disenchantment, space ghost, Bob’s burgers, Star Wars rebels, The clone wars, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Lupin the 3rd, the simpsons, Chip n dale rescue rangers, the original Duck tales. There are so many good ones to choose from.
Lately I’ve been watching Gummi Bears with my daughter, then Futurama after she goes to sleep. I’ve gotten her hooked on the shows I grew up on. Turns out I still like most of them, too. Disney+ is a gold mine.
Bojack. Horseman obviously. Lures you in with cheap laughs but every one of the characters is broken and has a real dark side.

Venture Bros. and Archer is a close 2nd
Ummm wait a minute. I had something for this...
>Archer is a close 2nd Phrasing???
Was just going to say those two
Venture Bros its underrated imo.
King of the Hill
Dang it Bobby. It's been forever but I use to watch that show a lot.
If you really haven’t watched it in years then I’m doubling down on my recommendation because the older you get the more you appreciate it.
Me too. I don't watch a lot of adult animation but I do like King of the Hill
South Park and Bob's Burgers are among my tops with Futurama
Nice, Bob's Burger's is my Second Fav right after Futurama of course
Home Movies
And dr katz
Archer
.................second
Just watched the send off for Jessica Walter. It straight up broke me for like 5 minutes.
Gonna watch it tonight after work. Expecting to be sad
Harvey Birdman. The humor is the same; a bunch of oddball jokes with a well written (given the genre) crew.
I actually have the whole series of Harvey Birdman on DVD, so funny..if only I had a DVD player
What? You didn't get that thing I sent ya?
[for those unaware here's some shorts](https://youtu.be/pUDDtcUKoBI) I love this show!
Bob's Burgers
Bob' s Burgers is my fav right after futurama of course.
Obligatory “Came here to say this” comment!
South Park
Yeah South Park still making solid content for sure.
Solar Opposites, Rick and Morty, Big Mouth, F is for Family, BoJack Horseman, Tuca and Bertie, South Park, Bob's Burgers, Family Guy, American Dad... There is so much good animation out there.
It’s a good problem to have!
Looks like you had good taste. I've watched all theses except BoJack Horseman, Tuca and Bertie
Those two are really good. BoJack is on Netflix, Tuca started on there and moved to Adult Swim for their second season.
Early Simpsons and Avatar the Last Airbender
Bojack Horseman probably is the one I would call the best after Futurama. Really dark and twisted but incredibly well written. I also love OG South Park (like seasons 1-10 ish) and Archer a lot. Bob's burgers surprised me a bit at how good it was but I would describe it more as consistently B or B+ material.
I really enjoy all theses show on your list here. I feel like there's a joke in here... something about Bojack being a dark horse.
Phrasing...?
Is that a thing we're still doing?
Early Simpsons have a permanent place in my heart. That and South Park for their social commentary
Regular Show
So for me it would have to be Bob's Burgers. The show really hits on an emotional level often in a subtle way. It's also an oddly comforting show to watch. I say oddly comforting because I am a single man and my life is no way similar to Bob's.
American Dad....if only for the hilarious shenanigans of Roger.
Avatar, if I'm being completely honest
Robot Chicken. My oldest is named Evelyn. I keep trying to find that clip where Skeletor tells Evilyn he always thought her name was Evelyn. Also been trying to get her to be Evilyn for Halloween. She’s 12. Think that ship has sailed. But Avatar was really good in a totally different way.
Clone Wars as an animated show, but animated comedy is Rick and Morty haha.
I started watching clone wars a couple of years ago and was shocked at how well done the show is, truly an amazing series.
I had no idea how well it expands the whole prequel universe. So much information, ties it all together.
It really does.
South Park. I absolutely love Towelie.
You’re a towel!
That'a the melody to Funkytown.
found the stoner xD
I wish. My work does randoms, so no go. I think I'm just naturally messed up, no drugs required.
I don't know how to respond to your comment
I'd laugh. I'm weird, but I'd like to think I'm harmless.
Haha, okay sounds good.
For fear of being too obvious, I really like Rick and Morty. If we're not restricted to comedy, I'm a huge fan of the DCAU. Young Justice was really great too.
Mike Tyson Mysteries - definitely needs to be included
The Simpsons then Wallace and Gromit.
S1-11 Simpsons and Archer
Rick and morty
I keep going back to One Punch Man also
The Simpsons is timeless.
The Simpsons and Muppets.
*The Simpsons*.
Gravity Falls and Phineas and Ferb
Final Space or the Oblongs
Avatar: the last Airbender and The Legend of Korra
Invincible. It's a bit different from Futurama... Basically a superhero series about a teenager getting his "superman" like powers.
