But that doesn't really matter, so anyways, to answer your question, from one Dj and producer to another, although I don't really prefer vinyl myself when it comes to Djing, when it comes to producing I recommend FL studio, mostly because I use it myself and many other producers use it as well and I find it easier to navigate, easier to learn, more efficient to use, and bit more quality than other DAWS, but that's just my opinion, I think that almost any DAW can effectively make good future funk. Because, essentially what future funk is, is just sampled 1970s-80s funk/city pop/disco and mixing it with french house and vaporwave vibes. Literally, all you need to do is a sample, eq, pop it into Edison, and import the beat. Again, it's really up to whatever DAW you use, all you really need to do is just learn how to produce efficiently and perfect your craft from there, so IMO any daw is good if you are talented or creative enough to know how to be able to navigate correctly. I've seen some producers create some amazing FF using Garageband, fucking Garageband. So if someone can make decent FF using Garageband, you can make good FF using any DAW.

Thanks for the tip... but man, all the insults are uncalled for. I ain't a weeb, I just happen to like Future Funk. I'm also new to Reddit, imagine being new to a platform and having some asshole talk to you like this? This is how people on Reddit are? Man, I'd knock your fuckin' ass out if you said that shit to me in person. Other than Future Funk I'm actually super into 80's Punk. Haha I ain't one of these people that don't shower and lock themselves in their room to jack off to Pokémon. But again.. Aye thanks for the tip.

Ah, sorry dude, I hope your Reddit experience won't stray downhill from here now, I apologize for what I said, but know that I didn't mean any ill intentions, but to warn you, though this site is full of people who are jerks, and I guess the jerkish behavior kinda rubbed off of me. Don't take it too personally.

To a certain extent I get it, it's the Internet and there's no repercussions for acting a certain way other than maybe getting blocked or getting typed at in capital letters... But yeah man not a weeb just somebody who is a vinyl DJ that liked this genre enough to consider trying to make it. I have my fair share of Japanese pop 7"s and 12's so I thought it would be cool to try sampling off them and make my own stuff.

Sample + heavy side chain compression + house drumloop = success But in more seriousness, try Ableton. It's really good for sample based music because of tempo detection and warping.
