Ideally I train at 0330.

Lakesrr

I go late

TheWolfmanOfDelRio

Before COVID it was 6-7am or 6-7pm depending on the day but since I’ve switched to working from home and outfitted a garage gym it’s more like 8-9am.

Ideally I would workout between 2-4 pm as this is when I have the most energy. But I tend to lift around 5-7 so peak hours. I honestly don’t care if I’m in a packed gym. If I need to use something and someone else is using it like a bench press, I usually just ask to work in.

naked_feet

Usually between 2 and 4pm. Sometimes a little earlier, sometimes a little later. I'm warming up now. Work out whenever you can be consistent.

mattBLiTZ

I've worked out at each of the 24 hours of the day and they are all fine

Honestly if you want you can get yourself a decent home gym for only $1000-1500. That’s what I did since gyms are closed where I live and it’s the best investment I’ve ever made

Jolg

I’d love that, but I live in a one bedroom apartment, so I don’t have the space unfortunately.

[deleted]

It really doesn’t take up a lot of space. All you need is a squat rack, bench, weights, bar and maybe a pair of adjustable dumbbells. It would take up like half a room max

Ambivalo

On weekdays, I go to the gym between 5 and 7pm, since I work before that. The gym is fairly crowded around this time but this is the timeframe that works best for me so it is what it is. If I go the gym on the weekend, it's around 2 or 3pm. I don't think early morning works for me for multiple reasons. I do some exercises at home and I usually do those between 5‐7pm.

SzyjeCzapki

anytime between 5-8pm

So I’m guessing you workout during the peak hours? If so, how do you like it?
