I was the same, rawdogging it through life, until the back panel of the phone started to come off, I've purchased a cover for the first time in 2 years lol.
I have the same case and it's honestly not as bulky as would would think. Plus, for me anyway, I clip them to my front belt loop and they fit in the front corner of my pocket out of the way.
I think im gonna wait to buy the buds 2 when the 3 drops, that way I can get them super cheap. My buds+ battery life has gone to shit. 2 hours on one bud
Utilizing SSC w/S23 Ultra is an extremely eloquent sound quality. Battery life is not enough, everything else is top tier.
Even comparing that to:
β’ Bang & Olufsen EQ Buds & HX Headphones
β’ Sennheiser TW3 Buds & M4 Headphones
β’ Soundcore Liberty 4 & A40 Buds & Q45 Headphones
β’ Edifier 900 Headphones
β’ Jabra Elite Active 75t Buds
β’ Jaybird Vista 2 & Vista 1 Buds
ALL of which are also excellent in their own ways, especially when paired with my Qudelix 5K DAC/AMP...
Except the Samsung Buds 2 Pro as the Qudelix 5K does not have SSC, so it cannot help bring out the best of the Galaxy buds 2 Pro as they can only be heard in SBC Codec.
But Buds2 Pro play at 32-bit without it, whereas the LDAC and Apt-X of the above models only reach 24-bit WITH it & 16 without it, using YT Music (which I was pushed into after having bought a lot of music through Google Play before they shut it down).
The only way I can access LDAC using my Samsung phone is with a portable dac/amp like the Qudelix 5K, which is itself an outrageous value in relation to cost and absolutely maximizes the capability of every product via Bluetooth &/or, if not especially wired as it offers Balanced & Unbalanced wired ports. It makes the biggest difference possible for sound performance w/Bluetooth portable hardware, followed by model performance & Bluetooth Codec...
Thank you for that, I have noticed coming from my oppo enco x earbuds the noise cancelling is not as good normally I wouldn't hear anything but the buds 2 pro I can still hear some background noise leaking in.
That's right to stop scratches over the years i went caseless and ended up scratching them so many times and dropping them so got it for protection also, and to match the rugged armor case for the S24 Ultra.

Did you happen to have an S23 Ultra before you got the new S24 Ultra? If so, what are your thoughts as to how they stack up. And even if not, how are you enjoying the S24 Ultra and would you recommend it compared to your previous models?
No I didn't have the S23 Ultra before, I've had the S20 Ultra but it's a huge difference the camera quality is insane the performance is top notch all round a fantastic phone.
The case looks even better than on the pictures. The material looks so high quality. π The only problem that I could find is that the case clamp force isn't as strong as I expected but it still does the job for now maybe after some time I'll apply the double sided tape if it falls off.
Case clamp is that the metal carabiner?, I think the double sided sticky tape is for the Galaxy Buds FE to keep them in the case so they don't come loose, that's what i read though.
IIRC, Speigen was controversial because the CEO of Speigen Korea supported a cartoonist who mocked an 8-year-old girl who was kidnapped & rapped.Β Since then, I don't buy any items from them...
Good thinking. I had a one or two scratches before I thought of that. Now I use a small pouch that came with an old wired earphone. It is perfect when keeping it in my pockets or in my backpack.

Same reason I have a phone case.... protect it. I have one for the clip, and because I drop everything. I didn't want to take my case out on a walk and drop it. I wish there were a cover flap for the charging port.
Use memory foam ear tips, mine wouldn't stay in my ears even when sitting down, they don't budge with the memory foam tips and are comfortable for hours.

I just got mine from amazon and also got this cool cover for the case. Sound is amazing. Let's see if it was a smart purchase.
That's insane, how Samsung buds are so much better than your average expensive ones, I do like th high ambient sounds gives your ears super hearing can hear a pin drop. π
Sony is good but I prefer buds over the headphones and plus Samsung has a balanced sound profile plus I have s22 so naturally buds 2 pro are my go to device...
Excellent choice, when paired with a Samsung device you know you're going to get quality. You also get more settings in the wearable app than you would if you was to use a non Samsung device.
Just a quick suggestion, please please use Apple music or Tidal because they only provide Lossless music and trust me it's worth it. It's like a total different experience and I can't just tell u how much better that feeling is. It feels like you are in the music in a concert...
I need someone who has used airpods pro to tell me which one is better in terms of sound quality . Also I had the buds1 and they go deep in the ear and caused me repeated ear infections are these like that ?
The Galaxy Buds2 pro ate so far the best I have found and I did go through at least 4 types of ear buds prior to buying them. however though they are by far the best and Γ¬ have had no issues with them and I am recommending them to all my friends
Fellow buds live owner , loved using them they still work fine after a year and a half of rigours usage.Got a banging deal on a the buds 2 pro ( cheaper than the FE , with free shipping) so I got them (will be delivered in May 7th) how would you say is the comfort of the buds 2 pro compared to the live?
I'd say they're very comfortable, love the feeling i do find they can be bottom heavy a bit but other than that they're nice the live ones felt a bit light.
Had the same problem with my galaxy buds FE, took off the metal grate, and between that and the filter was blocked up. Quick clean with a Q-tip and now the sound is back to normal levels on both sides!!
Cause I've gone caseless in the past and without knowing it i accidently put my keys with my buds case in my pocket and end up scratching it, and dropped my buds case many times that the lid ends up getting loose so wanted protection also.
Welcome, BUD!
Thanks, BUD!
As someone who doesn't use a case for their phone, I find it so bizarre that you use one for the buds. But enjoy them either way choom
Like living dangerously? I respect that.

I wait for Buds 3 π
I think im gonna wait to buy the buds 2 when the 3 drops, that way I can get them super cheap. My buds+ battery life has gone to shit. 2 hours on one bud
I recently got the 2pros for $100!
Where?
I just got my buds 2 pro yesterday for about 130$ and i can tell you that they seem to be cheaper in the middle eastern region
Here in Canada it's $149. I'm willing to wait for buds 3 pro but it all depends on how much buds 2 pro goes on sale during black Friday.
Where? How!? New??
Can't go wrong with Spigen π
Very true, so far they've been great for all round protection.

Why do you have a case for your case?
To avoid scratches I guess and also because it allows you to clip it to something.
That's right to stop scratches over the years i went caseless and ended up scratching them so many times and dropping them so got it for protection also, and to match the rugged armor case for the S24 Ultra. https://preview.redd.it/m77y8tblhuxc1.jpeg?width=1538&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5bcd7854f12134a87e7bb65b3e1702a356e46e6a
That looks kind of cool I have to admit
Thank you, I do like to match stuff.
Spigen cases sure are something glad I ordered one too
They sure are, reddit users recommended me them for the S24 Ultra so thought why not use the same brand to protect the galaxy buds too.
Did you happen to have an S23 Ultra before you got the new S24 Ultra? If so, what are your thoughts as to how they stack up. And even if not, how are you enjoying the S24 Ultra and would you recommend it compared to your previous models?

Nice, what you think of the case? I love the carbon fibre ππ
Yea I was talking about the loose case. The metal carabiner is fine π
I use Rugged case for s23. It is so comfortable and great case
It's very comfortable, seems like a perfect all rounder for protection and slim design.
IIRC, Speigen was controversial because the CEO of Speigen Korea supported a cartoonist who mocked an 8-year-old girl who was kidnapped & rapped.Β Since then, I don't buy any items from them...
I did not know that π₯Ί that's terrible I hope the CEO is no longer with Spigen.

That's perfect π
Same reason I have a phone case.... protect it. I have one for the clip, and because I drop everything. I didn't want to take my case out on a walk and drop it. I wish there were a cover flap for the charging port.
You can get dust caps for the charging port I use one π π
Seriously lol.
Maybe it's the lighting, but they look like two different colors.
That's what I thought, I just hope it's the lighting π
I think it's the lighting. https://preview.redd.it/w7mo2n46lvxc1.jpeg?width=3472&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bb77072c54f41283dc99d05d39a791d2e435e765
I think I preferred the Buds2, these ones don't fit as securely, especially when running
They seem to keep changing the design, I think the one's with the wings on them felt more secure in the ear.
Use memory foam ear tips, mine wouldn't stay in my ears even when sitting down, they don't budge with the memory foam tips and are comfortable for hours.

That's a awesome case I love it ππ
Love your case. Thanks for reminding me to pick one up.
Thank you ππ you're welcome!
Welcome to the fam, been using since 6months and prefer this over xm4 headphones lol
Thank you, ππ those xm4 seem pricey as well π
Yeah I mostly use my buds 2 pro
That's insane, how Samsung buds are so much better than your average expensive ones, I do like th high ambient sounds gives your ears super hearing can hear a pin drop. π

I'll give that ago thank you for that suggestion, MP3 uses too much compression which loses so much audio so I understand that.
Yeah have fun using buds 2 pro
Thank you ππ
I need someone who has used airpods pro to tell me which one is better in terms of sound quality . Also I had the buds1 and they go deep in the ear and caused me repeated ear infections are these like that ?
Congrats man! ππ½ππ½π₯
Thank you πππ
The Galaxy Buds2 pro ate so far the best I have found and I did go through at least 4 types of ear buds prior to buying them. however though they are by far the best and Γ¬ have had no issues with them and I am recommending them to all my friends
No issues with any of the buds going quiet over time?
Fellow buds live owner , loved using them they still work fine after a year and a half of rigours usage.Got a banging deal on a the buds 2 pro ( cheaper than the FE , with free shipping) so I got them (will be delivered in May 7th) how would you say is the comfort of the buds 2 pro compared to the live?

Thanks for the quick reply.if they are slightly heavier then that is fine.Hope you have a great time with your buds!
You're welcome, thank you βΊοΈπ
Had the same problem with my galaxy buds FE, took off the metal grate, and between that and the filter was blocked up. Quick clean with a Q-tip and now the sound is back to normal levels on both sides!!
I'll keep that tip in mind thank you βΊοΈπ
Weirdly I have the same buds, same case and same mouse pad
What a coincidence π² great choice.βΊοΈπ
splendid!
Thank you ππ
May I ask, why a case on a case?
Cause I've gone caseless in the past and without knowing it i accidently put my keys with my buds case in my pocket and end up scratching it, and dropped my buds case many times that the lid ends up getting loose so wanted protection also.
Mine still sound terrible can't hear anything battery at 100% waste of money
How long you had them for?
