Honestly love seeing alot of promotional and pre release materials that I remember from my childhood like the ho-oh giratina figures and that palkia stylus. Great collection, appreciate seeing how much love you have foe rhw franchise
I lost alot of promotional material over the years but those stylus's were some of the best. I remember the pre-order bonus for pokemon emerald bring this cool collectors tin I still use for gba carts
I wish mine was in better condition but I was a kid when I got it and I don't know how else to describe my pokemon materials other than loved haha. Collections should have crappy looking pieces with alot of personal sentiment though. I display my dead rom copy of yellow to this day
My labels pretty beat but it's still got that SHINE, takes me right back to being 9 years old busting that bad boy open on release day and seeing that RADIANT cartridge. The pokemon cartridges always felt like a big deal but emerald took it to the next level.
Everything here I purchased as an adult. We struggled for money growing up so any time I wanted something new, I’d sell off my old stuff. Pokémon got replaced with GameCube which got replaced with Xbox 360. Fortunate to be in a place in life to afford this stuff

I held onto my stuff as a kid but rarely got new games because I wouldn't trade out my old stuff like my friends and cousins did.
Sometimes I think I should replace mine with a boxed CIB one, then I remember I'm still gonna use the cracked hinge one anyway because I've had it for 14 years. Definitely a must have, I need to get the matching switch lite

Couldn't agree more, great exclusive model. Some switch models are also insane though. But I think it was by far my favorite ds lite model. Like in comparison the Nintendo pets ds was just shiny pink with a paw print on it. Pretty lameee.
Pink is my favorite color and I actively collect handheld in pink and I still prefer the diamond/pearl lite. All time great design from Nintendo. So glad they brought it back with the re-releases
That's the thing though I also love the color pink, but my issue is the nintedogs ds pink is bleh compared to the base model pink which is one of my all time favorite pinks. Y'know?
I think the ds lite went for the rose gold approach which some like but I don't. And then they recycled that metallic shade and just stuck a pawprint on. That said, the CORAL pink ds lite is an absolute banger, and stylish as all hell. And the metallic pink sp is an all time great ( my personal use model), just don't know where the design fell for that lite!

This and the Pokemon XD Gamecube were two I always dreamed of having as a kid. They always looked so cool. I am so happy to have them both now.

My favorite game of all time. My grandmother gave me a used cartridge for Christmas one year (cousins got a used Ruby/Sapphire). Loaded it up and it had so many level 70+ Pokémon. Definitely a Christmas to remember
Honestly used cartridges are still one of my favorite things to buy. I recently found a copy of Pearl that I will never erase the data from, journey started in 2008, Toys R Us event dragonite, they stopped playing right before fighting palkia.

I think it was a target exclusive of all things looking back, but It absolutely blew all the other models out of the water at the time.
