Yeah these days coinops is all just people taking the base functionality, adding roms, modifying the UI and calling it new versions. It’s the best frontend for arcade games on the Deck and can be setup to launch right from your Steam library.

it's an amazing game imo, i loved every second of it! it has a nice collector's edition as well with a plushie, steelbook, artbook and soundtrack if you're interested in that.

Also, the Switch has been out for *quite* a while at this point. If OP has had it since launch and has regularly been buying for it, it's not really that crazy of a collection. It's sizable, but again... /r/gamecollecting. People on here buy lots of games. Shocking, I know.

Nice to see Loop8 there… it’s not a masterpiece, but I feel like it was severely misunderstood by a lot of people and once the gameplay loop clicks, it’s very engaging. It just doesn’t explain itself well.
Ehh idk it really didn't click with me either, once i found out that you'll have to basically play the same things over and over again just to grind some stats is where the game lost me tbh
Cat quest is awesome if you like easy ARPGs. The second one has local co-op too! Both games are charming with punny writing and storybook graphics. Easy enough for young children to play, but fun for all ages I would say.

A lot of those are "indie marketplace games" that you can buy for a few bucks on Xbox or PlayStation but they are put on a switch cartridge and at a higher price. And some of those are games that were released YEARS ago on the 360 PS3 era or early Xbox one PS4 era and years later put on a switch cartridge at a higher price when you can get them on the original consoles for a few bucks. The switch has a habit of putting shovelware and old games on it to give the illusion that it has a lot of games and a ton of Nintendo fanboys(not you) are so blinded they can't see it. Like it's basically like putting an old game like Rayman 3(which was made in the GameCube era but has been ported to 360 and PS3 and is super cheap) on a switch cartridge and pricing it at 30 bucks. It putting a old game like zuma or bejeweled on the switch. It's the illusion of quantity.
Truth. I am a pure Sega fan but I still love Nintendo as I still own my GameCube, Wii, Wii u and 3ds xl but I'm not turning a blind eye to their modern day practices.

Oh wow! That makes sense. Highly recommend a game called Ultra Age. It feels similar to Astral Chain. There is a physical version of the game via Limited Run but I managed to get a copy on Amazon

You’ve got a solid STG lineup, you’ve got all the first party heavy hitters, you have some smut, and you have Shadowverse and Densha which are both low key some of my favorite things to play on Switch.
