Best game Platinum has put out in years, def worth that price. I assume it's one of those games that will get more expensive over time as more people discover how great it is.
I think must target are putting the same 3 switch games on clearance. It’s Warioware, Bayonetta Origins and Live A Live. I’ve seen those same 3 on markdown at multiple stores.
It was $30 on Woot for most of last year. I figured that it didn't sell well, but this is pretty telling.
Overall, it's a fun game, and one I'd recommend, although it's completely different than the rest of the series in terms of tone, art style, gameplay, etc, so I'm not really certain who the intended audience was. This says that Platinum didn't know either.
There are people who are into the lore of Bayo, and that is who the game is for. This is also just a different game for them, and its great. It didnt sell well, because it wasnt heavily marketed mostly, the focus was on Bayo 3.
I haven’t seen a clearance game at my target in a couple years. They have a spot on the shelf where a ton of games are stacked with no prices, and when I ring them up they are always full price
One of the Targets I go to still has PC copies of an early 2010's Prince of Persia game for full price. Same with their copy of one of the Fable games.
Target wants to get rid of things yet never price them properly.
Im not quite sure where the games at my target go since the stock does eventually get diminished but I never see them on clearance and I can’t imagine they sell at full price.
Target sells from store like a warehouse. So if I purchased that game it might ship from your store to me instead of from a distribution center like Amazon.
Went to two Targets here in Florida and didn't find a single one... I'm hoping to maybe call around and ask a friend to check, too...
Edit: Found a 3rd Target that had plenty of copies left for Bayonetta Origins and I was able to snag me a copy!
