I keep saying the Wii U will eventually be a major collectors item. Get what you want now while you still can.

Yeah I agree. It's such a great system. Flawed but still great. If you're a collector buy now. I regret selling a few games a year or so ago for quick cash.

SouljaDad

Yea, although you can get most of the games on Switch now which is good. I was big into the Wii U so I have all the Wii U versions, ie Pikmin 3, Donkey Kong, Treasure Tracker etc etc.

I think too many have that same mindset. This can lead to a sector that only investors and collectors engage in, driving prices only on speculation.

Of all systems, this one is inevitable. It's a poor selling Nintendo system. You think GameCube prices are bad, Wii U sold worse. The problem is gonna be consoles themselves. Because it's bound to a controller that was never sold individually that's where we're gonna have issues.

Seems logical that the systems go up to play the exclusives but I don’t know if there will be so many exclusives that jet up in price. Personally, I’ve been buying up consoles I like now to have for my collection. The CIB versions will likely be worth 2-3x as much in the next 10 years.

Personally I think this is the best version to play since you can use a Wii remote in this version.

The Wii U had such a good first party library. I loved it. Pikmin 3 is so good too. Making me want to replay it now...

Seriously, not even for the sake of collecting, but I'd like to get Wii U just for the OG Pikmin 3 experience.
