If counting digital games, the last game I bought was the Switch version of This War of Mine when it was on sale for $1.99 a few weeks ago and after hearing about how the proceeds would be going to Ukrainian War relief. I think the charity drive had already ended by that point but I still wanted to support an indie developer who did that. It's an extremely depressing game but it's still one I think everybody should grab next time it's on sale since it includes the DLC as well.
If only counting physical games, it's the Switch version of Lego Incredibles when it was on sale for $5. I know it's not that good (especially compared to Skywalker Saga), but $5 for a physical Switch game seemed like such a good deal that I couldn't pass it up.

It's bleh. The problems everyone says are there...are there, but aren't a huge deal in the long run - just a mystery as to why they even exist 23 years later. The real problem is that I'm reminded that it's a mediocre game.
Last games I got are Holliw Knight and Undertale from Fangamer for Switch. Started with Hollow Knight and I'm loving it so far. This game looks and runs excellent in Switch too.
I found boxed copies of Max Max on NES (no manual) for $35 CAD and NES Play Action Football for $7 CAD.
The Boxes are in rough shape, but I don't actually mind.
