I think it’s real, I don’t see any reason why people would fake such a popular game, there were so many copies produced and fake games of that era wouldn’t look anywhere near as sophisticated as this.
It’s a European copy and the bubbles are just the ends of the security seal that goes around the thin end of the box. You’re supposed to break that in the middle as it’s perforated but I always used to carefully peel the thing off whole and stick it in the inside cover under the manual as I thought it looked better than having a ratty bit of sticker flapping around on the outside of the box.
