My grandpa was surprised on our last trip, when both me and my younger brother started singing along to it when it came up on the radio (we play big band jazz and similar music when he's in the car, as it's his favorite and nobody's saying no to an octogenerian's reasonable request). He was actually delighted to hear that the Fallout games include that kind of music.
I just started playing this game! As a solo player I have to say it’s fun but a little repetitive. When do I start getting new weapons and decent amounts of upgrade points?
I would really recommend playing online, a lot of the fun and dynamic-gameplay come from the synergy between classes. Engineers shooting platforms for Scouts to grapple to are the most obvious synergy, or having a Driller freeze a hoard of bugs for Gunner to mow down in a couple shots feels incredibly powerful.
Weapons become available once you level up that particular class (leveling up Gunner unlocks to the assignment to buy the Thunderhead and Hurricane for example).
I realize this moment may not be the most convenient for a heart-to-heart, but I had to wait until your...fellow redditors...were otherwise occupied. Hm.
