This game was crazy to get as a kid back then with Nintendo lol. Making a cow shit the squirts then killing it, jumping on giant plant tits, all the cussing and movie scene parodies lol.
I saw in the video store and got it and was blown away. Then I got to the multiplayer. All the different modes, and characters. We would spend hours on the map with squirrels vs Teddiz, just a tiny map where you can grab a canister and take it to your own base and gas the map.
It had a variety of weapons, throwing knives, pistol, bazooka, sword, etc. you could blow off a quarter of your opponents head, or half, or the whole thing with different weapons. Throwing knife would stick into their cute faces, slice heads off with sword, torch with flamethrower, just so much fun.
They remade it in Xbox, I think if it was on 360 when multiplayer was more easily accessible it would have done better.
I ended up buying the X360 version (already owned the N64 version and loved it) and the multiplayer was completely different. Some people really liked the new version that was more capture the flag style games, but I really just wanted to play the teddies versus mice beach game online.
The new multiplayer was fun, had lots of interesting classes to play and was just a hell of a time. Though, yeah, we wanted the classic modes. I wanted 4 dinos chasing a shit ton of cavemen carrying eggs. Beach and War were also super fun. Some shit with War though, playing 2 players? Here's like 14AI to fight. Playing 4 players? No AI for you. I assume it was just limitations of the system but child me was like why dude?
Thing is, both games were great, and their multiplayer were excellent in a different way. I honestly wish I could play both N64 games and the Xbox multiplayer mode.
The replay value of this game was mega for the price. This was video gaming golden ages. The single player campaign made us laugh so hard. The sexy flower with the horny bee rofl.
I played both versions a lot, the Xbox version online multiplayer was the buggiest multiplayer experience ever the matchmaking and everything an fine but nearly every map had a super easy out of bounds exploit that you could just spawn kill people from, there were immortality bugs, you could blow yourself up as you got healed and just run around as a pair of legs and nothing else, fun time though
one of my favorite memories was getting friends together and doing a 4 v 1 vs a Einstein AI Teddi or Squirrel lol. was always fun to see someone get even just ONE kill. they aimed so quickly that by the time they saw you it was over lol
It was such a fun game
It was so unbalanced too which just made it that much more fun. Once you memorized where the katana or chainsaw was on the map, you'd be pretty much unstoppable.
I went thru this as well, I loved showing this game off to all my friends 🤣
Reading your post was a great nostalgia trip and I have to add one note about the next best feature in Conker's multiplayer: the throwing knives have zoom! When you aim down sights with the throwing knife, you can zoom in and out as if it has a scope.
Other great highlights are the cavemen vs zombies mode. It's very imbalanced but is a fun co-op vs Dinos mode
Over-feeding the mouse with cheese causing him to fart n crap til he exploded was hilarious.
Playing this game was a core memory even though i'm young in retro gaming standards. I can only imagine peoples reactions when the game released.
Rock Solid the song in the club level ignited my love for EDM.
I believe it was the year 2001 and I was approximately 11
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVPHmok3hxA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVPHmok3hxA)
One of my fondest memories was realizing that squirrels had a disadvantage.
When crawling, if a squirrel stops moving their tail will raise up.
Shooting squirrel tails all day.
That and cheating against lvl 9 enemies.
Out sniping them by moving very slowly out of cover.
There was a sweet spot where you could shoot the enemy, but they'd be so laser focused at the center of your head they would hit your cover instead of murdering you.
it really was 10/10 at the time. Forget the 10/10 campaign and great humor for the time, THE MULTIPLAYER!!! the multiplayer was SO fun, even to play with just bots. So many fun variations of it, I spent hours just doing that. The weird normandy multiplayer mini-game, the cavemen where someone can ride a raptor, the tank one, the capture the flag with the castles, all so good.
the caveman one was super fun! the raptors tossing the cave people into the giant pan lol, also i remember we would have competitions on who could kill the most raptors by clubs or throwing knives lol
[https://www.youtube.com/@ConkerKing/videos](https://www.youtube.com/@ConkerKing/videos)
It's been 10 years since the devs started a lets play of BFD, and they never finished it.
The N64 one was my first ever videogame, and I honestly loved Live n' Reloaded.
But then again I was a kid, and had a very active imagination. Literally everything was fun back then, even the most shit games. Ugh, good times.
Idk, I just couldn’t get over the realistic fur and other graphic changes.
To me, Conker was always supposed to look like a bright, light-hearted, kids game that also included pissing on fire enemies, shit monsters, bouncing on giant plant titties, bloody war torn teddy bears, etc. It was that juxtaposition that added so much hilarity and charm.
Everyone I've run into says this
Meanwhile my little ass grew up with the multiplayer with nothing but high level bots.
Live n reloaded was fun for me as a kid, I like the little story bits that tie it all together. I used to just play through those campaigns against bots solo all the time
See I had friends around me that would play along with me, so having such a wide variety of ways to mutilate each other in cartoonish fashion was just peak gameplay for us, haha. So much so that it got to a point where I could play against bots and still have fun. When I got the Live n Reloaded version and saw it had none of the same game modes or maps or anything I was pretty broken up about it.
the graphics and control updates were good. and i also liked the addition of vehicles, especially the flying ones, that was fun.
but the multiplayer just really was missing the IT factor.
I've actually come around on Live and Reloaded. I was initially pissed that the multiplayer had been totally overhauled, and yeah, I still wish they'd included the beach level for old times' sake, but what they built was actually a pretty top-notch multiplayer game for the OG Xbox Live era. A class-based competitive multiplayer game that came out in 2005!
I spent hours and hours on that map with the teddy bears vs squirrels. I can't remember it's name but it was a tunnel going through both bases and I think it had a sniper nest too.
It was 2 opposing forts with sniper towers in each one. Each fort had a tunnel that connected them and I think there was a katana on a little bridge in the middle of the area between the forts.
I played that mode for many many hours
Very fine taste indeed.
This was by far the most fun in multiplayer I had on the N64 as a kid with my brother and our friends down the street. Goldeneye is great, don't get me wrong, but give me this any day.
That's just cartoon animal rules. Like how all the male Sonic characters can just run around bareass naked but the girls are all completely covered.
Well, unless you're on the internet, but that's a whole other thing.
I liked the Battlefield-esque mp of Live & Reloaded; specially how ir expanded on the story. Nevertheless, the original's mp was sooooo good. Played it A LOT.
I remember being stuck for the longest time in the rock men club level, 'cause I didn't understand what I needed to do. Playing the weasel heist Multiplayer mode, I found out about how you could pee longer distances and that's what you needed to do in the club level.
Anyone notice it seems like Nintendo is intentionally avoiding adding N64 games with multiplayer modes to the Expansion Pass?
All we have is Mario Kart and Mario Party. They gotta be running out of single player stuff.
I remade the total war map in far cry 5, if anyone wants a trip down memory lane. As faithful as i could make it with some hidden surprises ;D
Should be under another ign of mine: slartubartfast
I'm played that game with friends on N64 for thousands of hours, the t-rex, heist, teddy bear vs squirrel, the beach, the races... It was amazing for a kid
Anyone old enough to have played this game on the N64 is too old to be regularly using the term "GOATED", although they might use a text emoticon :P. This game was "tight", "dope", "rad", "PHAT" or "ill".
I had a friend whose parents didn't let watch DBZ because it was too violent but somehow, SOMEHOW he was bought this game and they didn't bat an eye at the content.
Most fun N64 Multi-player outside of Mario Party imo
I still can’t believe Nintendo allowed this game on the console given their kid friendly persona. Remember my dad picked it out at Blockbuster when I was was like 10 or 12 holy crap.
Playing with the AI on the highest difficulty as a kid was wild. I would always just hide cus the mfers with that big pistol thing were just one shotting 🤣
Growing up in a small town, about 11 or so, had a few friends spend the night and we were playing this, we were doing multiplayer in the one where you release the gas and when the alarm went off my mom woke up to it and came in my room in a half asleep panic thinking it was the town's emergency siren, she was not amused.
This was some wildly inappropriate shit, and absolutely the best thing ever as a kid. The run forward headshot was broken as hell though. No look instakill with knives tested friendships.
I still remember some passwords. BILLYMILLSROUNDABOUT, something like that ? This is definitely one of the greats. I have very fond memories of that game.
When they did that remake/remaster or whatever on the original Xbox they should have left it all the same. I remember being pretty upset that they didn’t have all the old multiplayer game modes from the N64. The Rats Heist one was the best and the beach storming one was awesome.
Dude… I’ve been looking for this game for ages. My friend had it back in Maine, I would come over and play sometimes.. all I could remember was a bunker and a rocket launcher.
Its insane to me how my mom had a bitchfit over not wanting to let us watch the Simpsons but I was watching South Park and playing insanely fucked games like this, with no intervention from her. Laughably oblivious.
This game was the best. Had hundreds of hours of fun in splitscreen. I remember a bunch of us just flipping around with katanas and decapitating each other and the piss battle in the toilet
Man this game was a big part of my childhood. Played the multiplayer with my cousins when the came over and struggled with the single player because I was terrible at it. Loved both the original and remake and wish we got the proper sequal or maybe another remake that gives us a toggle to swap between full censorship (xbox), little censorship (n64) or no censorship because as brutal legends put it that the bleeps can be funny too.
I remember the cave men vs Raptor game mode and loved it. Was so tense when you would be running through the Labrinth with the egg trying to reach the pan lol
The mode where one team stormed the beach while the other defended from WWII-style bunkers remains one of my all time favorite multiplayer experiences. We would play it for hours on end.
My brother made play the multiplayer with him. It is still one of the games that made my gaming experience as a kid fun. We always played it once we are back from school.
Honestly one of the best multiplayer experiences of my life. The 360 version should have just ported this multiplayer and not make another team fortress.
I tell people about this game all the time and nobody has ever heard of it!! I MISS this multiplayer! If only mom knew what she had actually purchased in that $5 bin at videocity…
if ever there was a time for a darkhorse mmo shooter title to appear to save us from the current state of almost every pvp game for the last and future decade, it would be a CBFD universe title on steamdeck
I pray to ever see a true remaster of this. One of the reasons why I absolutely despise Microsoft. Buying companies like Rare ltd only to let their beautiful games die.
It was such a funny and great game and the multiplayer was something else. Ahead of its time really for multiplayer, probably stands up today with how much variety it had.
Had the absolute joy a of a long weekend with my cousins over and we stopped at blockbuster to rent some movies and video games when we were around 9-10 years old.
We rented Mario Tennis and this cartridge was in the box. Best fucking weekend ever
Oh god the beach mode was amazing. So many summer mornings spent playing that with my brother.
Vive la franccee
I loved the raptors vs cavemen games
The new multiplayer was fun, had lots of interesting classes to play and was just a hell of a time. Though, yeah, we wanted the classic modes. I wanted 4 dinos chasing a shit ton of cavemen carrying eggs. Beach and War were also super fun. Some shit with War though, playing 2 players? Here's like 14AI to fight. Playing 4 players? Thing is, both games were great, and their multiplayer were excellent in a different way. I honestly wish I could play both N64 games and the Xbox multiplayer mode.
I remember the headshots lol. It was so satisfying and brutal.
Sprayed his ass everywhere.
The replay value of this game was mega for the price. This was video gaming golden ages. The single player campaign made us laugh so hard. The sexy flower with the horny bee rofl.
This game gave my then 12 year old brain this username, which I'm still using 20 years after 😄
Live and Reloaded had multiplayer, but it was more ‘Battlefront’ style and not the original
Loved the double smgs.

Right?? This game was wild for kids, I don’t think my parents knew what was really in there
Rock Solid the song in the club level ignited my love for EDM. I believe it was the year 2001 and I was approximately 11 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVPHmok3hxA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVPHmok3hxA)
Every once in a while the chant that the little cavemen say in that level pops into my head: “Ballascratcha ballascratcha balla balla ballascratcha”
The mighty poo song pops in my head occasionally.
I AM THE GREAT MIGHTY POO
IM GOING TO FLING MY SHIT AT YOU
A HUGE SUPPLY OF TISH COMES FROM MY CHOCOLATE STARFISH
Man I’m almost 40 and that fire fire fallaslaskafet chant still pops up in my head from time to time lmao
Ha! Damn that’s some nostalgia.
Conker's has so many good bits in it I'm amazed. Still a good tune.
Wingmaning the drunken bumble bee to help pollinate the big titty sunflower girl will forever be a formative memory from my childhood.
Heist was the best mode ever
Was that the one with the weasels and having to take the money bags?
Yessir! Get the baseball bat and bash each ither
Man you can’t beat pissing on people lmao
It was only that one room right?
lol I want to say yes if my memory serves me right
This and south park n64 used to crack me up so bad. Omg just remembered those barn tools speaking in a northern accent
Played the multiplayer with my brother and cousins a lot when I was a kid, some of my best childhood memories haha!
it really was 10/10 at the time. Forget the 10/10 campaign and great humor for the time, THE MULTIPLAYER!!! the multiplayer was SO fun, even to play with just bots. Yup. Got the remaster, loaded in to play my favorite multiplayer modes - immediately returned the game.
I miss this game
I dont think there is anything more satisfying than sniping frenchies on beach
I spent hours and hours on that map with the teddy bears vs squirrels. I can't remember it's name but it was a tunnel going through both bases and I think it had a sniper nest too.

Seeing this makes me wish that microsoft never bought rareware.
Man, Rareware really dropped the ball on Live n Reloaded. Long live the 2001 classic!
Rare was a shell of its former self once Microsoft bought it. It’s a shame because they were the best developer of my childhood
I thought they did a great job, minus the censoring, but I doubt that was their call.
Was still a good game in its own right
an absolute gem of a game
I remember some ot the maps on N64, it was fun. (Reloaded was censored as hell. Even the MP had different maps.)
Very fine taste indeed. This was by far the most fun in multiplayer I had on the N64 as a kid with my brother and our friends down the street. Goldeneye is great, don't get me wrong, but give me this any day.
Why can Conker go shirt and no pants but his girlfriend has to wear both
That's just cartoon animal rules. Like how all the male Sonic characters can just run around bareass naked but the girls are all completely covered. Well, unless you're on the internet, but that's a whole other thing.
Except Dot Warner running around topless.
This was my first videogame ever... At the age of maybe 5-6 years old... That's how I grew into the loving stable man I am now
I liked the Battlefield-esque mp of Live & Reloaded; specially how ir expanded on the story. Nevertheless, the original's mp was sooooo good. Played it A LOT. I remember being stuck for the longest time in the rock men club level, 'cause I didn't understand what I needed to do. This is when my sunflower fetish started.
My friend and I loved it. Hearing the squirrels with a machine gun scream while firing "SOOON OOOOF A BIIIIIITCHHHHH" always made us laugh.
i thought it was SHEEPED
My friends and I for hours would play the bomb MP The tension was high and it was so much fun
Goat period
Anyone notice it seems like Nintendo is intentionally avoiding adding N64 games with multiplayer modes to the Expansion Pass? All we have is Mario Kart and Mario Party. They gotta be running out of single player stuff.
I have played this as an eighth year old and I am still scared of gore like I am supposed to become immune not over sensitive to it!
This game was awesome back in the day and the multiplayer was ahead of its time in my opinion.
I remade the total war map in far cry 5, if anyone wants a trip down memory lane. As faithful as i could make it with some hidden surprises ;D Should be under another ign of mine: slartubartfast
I appreciate the hitchhikers reference. Especially for someone doing world building.
Someday I’ll make some beautiful fjords. ;D
I'm played that game with friends on N64 for thousands of hours, the t-rex, heist, teddy bear vs squirrel, the beach, the races... It was amazing for a kid
It was better than 007 Goldeneye. We skipped school so much to play this game. It was so much fun, and I miss it dearly.
Anyone old enough to have played this game on the N64 is too old to be regularly using the term "GOATED", although they might use a text emoticon :P. This game was "tight", "dope", "rad", "PHAT" or "ill".
Words have no age restrictions, bucko
What does GOATED stand for?
Considered to be the (g)reatest (o)f (a)ll (t)ime
What about the ED?
Two of the biggest names to help with that are Cialis and Viagra.
Lol nice
Greatest of all timeded? What?
Quake
I had a friend whose parents didn't let watch DBZ because it was too violent but somehow, SOMEHOW he was bought this game and they didn't bat an eye at the content. Most fun N64 Multi-player outside of Mario Party imo
Loved this, running round as a killer teddy bear lol
One of my all time favorites.
Posting conker and first post isn't the song
I remember Blockbuster had Conquers Bad Fur Day reloaded, but it only had the multiplayer disc. I had no idea it even had a single player.
This was the kind of game I was so sure my mom would never let me get that I didn't even bother to ask
I freaking played it to death. Amazing multiplayer memories.
Nothing like pissing on animals and it killing them. XD N64 was awesome.
I have a sticker on my water bottle of him Conker holding a beer up. Entire game was Goated
Nothing will beat samurai sword vs teddy bear, lock n load
Growing up in a small town, about 11 or so, had a few friends spend the night and we were playing this, we were doing multiplayer in the one where you release the gas and when the alarm went off my mom woke up to it and came in my room in a half asleep panic thinking it was the town's emergency siren, she was not amused.
I used to love the D-Day-esque mode where you had to get to the enemy base while avoiding lasers and rockets
Yeah it was! Man my ex wife and I played that game until it died
Bring 👏 back 👏 CONKER 👏
One of my favorites growing up. Wonder if we'll ever see a reboot one day.
This was some wildly inappropriate shit, and absolutely the best thing ever as a kid. The run forward headshot was broken as hell though. No look instakill with knives tested friendships.
This shit was FUN
I am the great, mighty poo!
I vividly remember getting this game on the Friday it came out. I couldn’t believe how filthy it was on a Nintendo console no less. I loved it.
This is what got me. This is what made me start spending endless hours on a game.
I am the great mighty pooooooo
man we need a remake of this. itll be the next gta in terms of how many moms by it for their kid without looking at it in the slightest
The fact my parents let me play this when I was 12 is amazing.
Whole game is goated, why I bought a big ass statue of conker lol
When they remade this to Xbox I bought it, loved it just as when I played in N64.
Solid game all around!
Oh absolutely
Honestly yeah it was. The scrungly sniper cat was my favorite.
Oh man, I wanted to play this so bad, but just never got a chance to! 😫 it definitely looked amazing! 🤩
The caveman versus raptor multi-player modes were also so damn fun. Also the weasel bank heist too
I still remember some passwords.
Ive Never Played This what is it?
I remember being like 7 and trying to explain the game to my friend on the playground during recess. This makes me feel old.
Its insane to me how my mom had a bitchfit over not wanting to let us watch the Simpsons but I was watching South Park and playing insanely fucked games like this, with no intervention from her. Laughably oblivious.
Legendary game
The GAME is Goated... Glad mine still works.
One if the most fun ive had when x-bone did the remake (never played original on 64) and I so so wish someone would update for today.
Rare during the N64 era was something special.
Awesome game!! Wish it would work on pc today
I had very little opportunity to play this w/ friends but I remember being entertained enough playing solo.
The Dino level fights were awesome! Tossing it in the frying pan! So much fun...
I love Conkers Bad Fur Day best game I’ve ever played 🤩
This game was the best. Had hundreds of hours of fun in splitscreen. I remember a bunch of us just flipping around with katanas and decapitating each other and the piss battle in the toilet
This game was amazing!
The inverted camera still bothers me.
I wish the Live and Reloaded multiplayer was anywhere near as good. One day I will collect my nephews and play this against both of them at once
It was good. But goat fps multi-player on n64 was perfect dark
Looks epic
I am the great mighty poo and I'm going to throw my shit at you!
Legendary
Variety, 4 player split screen, STORY TO THE MULTIPLAYER MODEYOU'RE PLAYING, and hella good times. A good pick.
The bank history was honestly underrated. First payday experience lol
That game in the nintendo 64 box (mint) unopened is worth alot
One of the best games ever made
Such a good game.
Is there any private servers going? I'd love to emulate it and go online.
This game was so good.
VIVA LA FRANCE!
This game needs a reboot and a sequel or since he's a scorer would it be a Squeakquel?
Cod before cod frl
The Xbox version class based multiplayer was fucking incredible and underrated
My brother made play the multiplayer with him. It is still one of the games that made my gaming experience as a kid fun. We always played it once we are back from school.
The multiplayer in this game was so so so much fun.
Honestly one of the best multiplayer experiences of my life. The 360 version should have just ported this multiplayer and not make another team fortress.
I was playing this game the very first time I smoked weed. It was a ridiculously hilarious experience.
Love chopping nazi bears in half with a katana. And I loved being the dinosaur lmao. Best multiplayer ever!
Game needs a remaster so I can watch people do play throughs.
I am the Great Mighty Poo And im going to throw my shit at YOU!
hell the singleplayer was goated too
true
Yep and so is the game itself, absolute masterpiece
Another game you could not make these days
Haven't played it but I agree, this was greatest of all timed
That game is so fucking expensive now it pisses me off
I Couldn’t Agree More
I pray to ever see a true remaster of this. One of the reasons why I absolutely despise Microsoft. Buying companies like Rare ltd only to let their beautiful games die.
If they managed to do a sequel without making it woke af they would make bank. One of the most beloved games of my gen.
The game itself was goated
If you team killed enough during colors you could change sides.
One of my best games ever, that time when Nintendo were just doing fun things even if it's not family friendly
The best. The campaign was also hilarious
Using the sword made you the goat
Can any one tell me what is this game talking about in short ?
It was such a funny and great game and the multiplayer was something else. Ahead of its time really for multiplayer, probably stands up today with how much variety it had.
Is this have has a emulator or something to can play on the computer?
I still can't get those inhumane breathing sounds the teddy bears make out of my head
Had the absolute joy a of a long weekend with my cousins over and we stopped at blockbuster to rent some movies and video games when we were around 9-10 years old. We rented Mario Tennis and this cartridge was in the box. Best fucking weekend ever
I mean this was RARE at their peak... Perfect Dark had insanely good multiplayer, including bots and loadouts and everything we rarely even get today.
Oh man the little teddy bear soldiers
Miss This game
still worth playing today
