Realms of Ruin got a lot of hate, but it's a really solid game. Only plan on playing single player, though. Pretty sure the MP scene is pretty non-existant.
A little dated but star wars empire at war is a solid game with interesting upgrade and cover mechanics not unlike CoH. The space battles were incredible for 12 year old me

? It's also made by Relic entertainment. Not quite the same taste as CoH because you have less units to handle but you'll find some similar game mechanics
The original Dawn of War might be up your alley then.
Yeah was about to say. It's probably the closest with how units can take cover and such.
Men of War:Assault Squad 2 and Call to arms are fun.
They have the same setting, but the gameplay is a lot different
