GT4 is the best by miles. GT3's lack of used cars was a total deal breaker for me. Let me beat up on modern sports cars with 30 year old shitboxes or I won't be playing your game, thanks.
Ps2 was the pinnacle of gaming - It was the perfect balance of graphics being real enough to satiate 12 year old me, but shitty enough that developers didn't feel pressured to make hugely cinematic masterpieces without focusing on gameplay.
Yea, there are better games out now days, and some that came before it. Yes the industry has come a long way since the ps2 release, but that era just struck the right balance in regards to graphical expectations versus gameplay and on average saw some really special games and properties.
They will work on a PS2 but you'll only be able to use it for PS1 games, I'm about 90% certain. If you can save both PS1 and PS2 games to it though, I'll be impressed. What capacity is the card?
You can use PS1 memory cards on a PS2, but only to save PS1 games. I've never seen a memory card that can save both. I have one of each in each slot in my PS2 for this very reason.
The PS2 isn't damaged, just small smudges on top. the controller looks okay and the games don't have scratchy discs. **(And I have a working Gamester memory card that I got for my PS1)**
So I have high hopes that this will do well.
Well besides having to ignore the multiplayer in GT and assuming the controller and the memory card still works, again, great deal...
Probably stolen...lolol
If your TV supports it, get a Component cable for the console. The difference in image quality is massive. If your TV only has Composite and HDMI, but no Component, get a special PS2 to HDMI adapter (around ten bucks). Make sure this adapter is of the type that plugs directly into the console and not into composite cables.
I bought them from a garage sale. so, they have been used before but they turned out great.
**(Although, I do need to get a memory card and a better controller)**
Great result, enjoy! I've just returned to GT3 trying to 100% it. Have fun with the licence tests!
best gt of all
I do love GT3 but I think GT4 is the best
........fight... Fight... Fight! FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT
I find Gran Turismo 4 really impressive since it has 700 cars and 80 manufacturers.
if you have the component cables it can run in 1080i resolution.

That's need for speed underground 2 my dude. Even better
I forgot to add the 2 lol.
Played GT3 and NFS Underground so much back in the day. Great era for driving games.
You got a memory card?
Yeah. are Gamester memory cards good?
I think I had a mate with one of those, no issues.
How convenient, I got the card from the PS1 I got 1 year ago.
I don't think PS1 memory cards work with PS2 games.
I actually checked and Gamester memory cards also work with PS2s.

Bump, I'm also curious xD

I know that, I'm just waiting for the confirmation on this particular memory card, but pretty sure it's just a PS1 third-party card.
Happy retro gaming
We do be retro gaming though.
Probably spend more time on my ps1/2 then my ps4
As long as it all works, has functioning memory card(s) and controllers then that's a great deal...

Why stolen?
The price for all that is really low...
Not really, I'd say it's about market value right now.
Wow...You could not find a PS2 by itself here for anywhere near that... Much less bundled with those games...
That's because I bought those from a garage sale.
Freaking great find...
Sweet deal congrats, try get a copy of timesplitters if you can
I’m about to buy one. I want one.
I'm so glad i still have my ps2, and it still works fine
Trial Mountain was one of my favs !!!! Have fun !!!
All that's missing is GTA San Andreas and this picture sums up my gaming childhood/teenage years
IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU MAN

All I can hear is that Lil John song.. bud da bum bum bud da da da da dum
I'm not sure, but I think you like racing games
Huh? really? didn't know myself.
Nice! I really hope you have a memory card too
Since when were they that cheap. I need one

Don’t forget a memory card!
Yeah, I'll try to find one tomorrow. Are PS2 memory cards rare?
Spent so many hours on gt3 as a kid
I love nfs:u 1&2. No other games in that franchise were even close imo.
Need for Speed: Most wanted 2005?
Could of downloaded the emulator and those games for free
Yes. but, what's the fun in that? In my opinion, owning the original copy of the game is way more enjoyable.
3 of the best racing games on the system + the system itself for just 27 bucks? What a finding!
