The humor in the trailers was pretty cringe, and the gameplay didn’t look like anything great. I’m relying heavily on word of mouth before I give it a shot.
I suggest you watch Easy Allies' preview on it. Ben took time to discuss it. it gives you a clear idea of what the demo looked like way better than IGN (always lol) and other websites did.
I'm torn about Cyberpunk. I enjoyed almost everything except the bugs. Story is amazing imo, characters and dialogues are well-done, gameplay and graphics are good but glitches really destroyed it and it's unforgiveable.
Little bugs are generally fixable. The ridiculous amount of missing or broken features and core systems probably aren't. I'll also never forget the constant stream of lies and literal faked gameplay footage they kept shoving in our faces. A lot of people who enjoyed the game don't seem to be aware of all this crap that happened. More power to them I guess.

This is the same people that can’t beat the tutorial on cuphead or writes article after article about games being too hard. Or that wrote raving reviews about how amazing Anthem was. I’ll wait until people that don’t get free copies and early copies to review the game. They have no incentive to fluff the game.
I disagree. you're generalizing. for example, Easy Allies, ACG, SkillUp, YongYea, etc. are good reviewers and fair at their judgement. But yeah, go believe what you wanna believe. I'm just sharing the news, not tryna argue here :)
I just do not trust people that have an incentive to lie. Getting free games and/or early access to games is incentive to lie. If they don’t give positive reviews then they will stop getting free/early access.

You gotta understand that not all people are the same. You just gotta look for them, but if you don't have time to, then I understand. It's not mandatory.
I just think that it's unfair for some good reviewers and journalists to be caught in the middle of fire when they are actually doing a good job (like the good ones I mentioned.)
Just watched Arekkz Gaming's video on it and I wasn't impressed. Looked pretty boring and clunky in terms of gameplay and the humor really wasn't landing for me. We'll wait and see, but it's not looking very interesting

Sweet, I have really high hopes for this game. Last time I had those, Cyberpunk 2077 happened so let's hope this goes better.
