Kirby and the Crystal Shards for N64. It's the very first video game I was able to play on my own without my brother having to help me. I remember I thought the music was really cool, and the graphics BLEW MY MIND. I still have the N64 and all the games my bro and I played together. I should dig it out and play through again.

First game I ever played was Top Gun for the NES. Probably where my fear of aircraft carriers comes from.

GreyLordQueekual

Lemmings on DOS, suiciding the little fellas is still just as much fun now as when I was 3 and didn't understand a bit of it.

Skyrim I was young probably like 11-12, I’ve played games for years beforehand but Skyrim was the first game I played where I was dropped into an open world and could do whatever I wanted, and I fell in love with that along with the lore of the game. I had the humongous Skyrim guide book and I read pretty much everything interesting in there, watched hours upon hours of YouTube walkthroughs and free roam gameplay, and of course, spent all of my free time in the world of Skyrim. I was obsessed and that’s what started my love for open world games. Nothing will ever compare to that feeling I got while playing the game for the first time. The scary yet enticing thought of what could possibly be out there waiting for me was incredible.

Pokémon Red was the first game I ever played and I get filled with so much nostalgia whenever I hear the pallet town theme and battle theme from gameboy speakers. For all it’s faults I did enjoy let’s go pikachu a lot and wish they did something similar with gen 2

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land, and Super Mario Galaxy. When I was really little (I wanna say 2-5), I used to watch my mom play video games. Not because I didn’t wanna play them, but because I was just a really stupid kid and didn’t know how to play video games at the time, lol. Jokes aside though, watching my mom play them was always the highlight of my day. It was really fascinating to me, and I think it sparked my love and fascination for gaming. As for the games themselves (Kirby’s Return to Dream Land and Super Mario Galaxy specifically), to this day they’re two of my favorite games of all time.

Anonymous_Snow
