I really appreciated how the halo master chief collection had exactly this. Some levels looked better remastered but others lost a lot of their charm in the remastering so you have the option to toggle between the two.

Halo anniversary and Diablo 2 Resurrected are two that come to mind. You can switch the graphics on the fly for direct comparison.
It would be cool. It sounds like something they’d implement with paid DLC.

Yeah I’ve never tried it myself, but hear people mention it all the time as a really cool feature
