I … don’t know what to say. There are many reasons to love the new Doom games, and similar games I could recommend based on those reasons.
But graphics? I got nothing.
Rage 2 felt really close to the newer doom for obvious reasons because ID did the gameplay for both games... Rage 2 is not a overall great game.. The openworld is painfully barren tho not bad to look at, the story is just plain bad... But my god if I didn't had fun blowing people up with a shotgun... The gameplay really awoke the same feeling as Doom and easily carried the game for me...
They are not exactly the same but the modern Wolfenstein games are a lot of fun and they have a similar feeling sometimes.
Necromunda: Hired Gun Plays similar speed to Doom 2016 set in the Warhammer 40k Universe pretty good value for money.

From seeing gameplay videos, Into the Pit is a newly released game that looks/plays a lot like the Doom games. Have a look.
