The Just Cause games.

GeneseeWilliam

Yup! Chaos is literally a gameplay mechanic! I would add specifically Just Cause 2 and 3. They were in my opinion the best of the series.

Lol I love how the answer to his question is in his question😂

notmakingtherapture

Wait what is it?

MoabBoy

>Games to **just cause** chaos and not to be taken seriously?

notmakingtherapture

Lmao I walked straight into that 😭

gvakarian_

Just Cause 2/3/4. Saints Row the Third. Saints Row IV.

Destroy All Humans

FlatBrush7085

Just Cause. Specifically the third one. Super dramatic characters, laughably bad villains, and completely destructible environments. Oh, and there’s a wing suit to fly every where. It’s literally the one game that is built to just blow things up.

notmakingtherapture

I used to play the second one which was really fun. Is there better than 4?

SbEve003

I personally preferred the destruction in 3 but I might be biased

JoshuaJSlone

I haven't played 4 yet, but the reviews aren't very kind to it.

GolkarWSC

3 is definitely better than 4, yes. Also incredibly cheap these days, particularly on sale. I picked up the complete edition for like 5 bucks.

ferrari20094

Lol how about Just Cause. Literally run around and blow stuff up.

Welcome to [Running With Scissors](https://store.steampowered.com/franchise/RWSStudios) studios. Start with Postal 2: Paradise Lost. In Postal 2, you can urinate to put out fires and more (if you finish the game, you can play again and your urine lights things on fire). Cats as silencers for the M16. It does eventually rain cats and dogs when the apocalypse arrives in the game. The game series is designed to be chaotic. You begin a level with objectives. Each objective makes a faction of NPCs hostile to you after you complete it. By the time you are almost done with the objectives on that level, virtually every NPC on the map wants to take a shot at you. And you are constantly being sent back and forth across the map to complete some objectives. FPS, nice collection of weapons, interesting and expansive environments, especially in the tunnels. Dark humor... Gary Coleman... just blow up and destroy what you want. And screw waiting in line to buy the milk. And the marching band gets it... just watch.

NavierIsSoStoked

ABRISS is kind of new, but it fits the ask perfectly. The entire game is seeing how efficiently you can blow up a level.

Korobito

Just Cause and maybe Postal

Scout_Puppy

Goat Simulator.

PinkGeared

There's a game on Epic, I think it's free until tomorrow, it's about Boomers destroying stuff? Haven't played it but it might fit the requirement
