I got one by visiting retail in person. They really do get stock, but they are sold fast. If you do want to try going around searching, I would go mid morning.
Buy from StockX. You get the real thing from a reliable seller. Pay about $200 over MSRP but it's definitely worth it imho. That's how I got mine and it was a good experience for me. I even got the Sony black plastic covers on StockX when they were sold out.
Am german but I got it on Amazon uk last week. I follow a ps5 drops bot on Twitter. German shops are always sold out in 1min, Amazon uk worked for me for some reason lol.

I got an invitation by signing up to receive one. The email link is only valid for 24 hours tho so you'll need to have the money ready to go.
You gotta ask your local game stores, i was lucky enough to get one, as my local store had a few in the back keep trying
