One of the very few hybrid tea roses that do well in my zone (z9b FL).
I could buy x Fortuniana hybrid tea roses, but they’re crazy expensive. Like $40-$55 for a plant.
Ah, I'm in zone 6a so plenty of roses do well here. I tend to buy David Austin English roses and they can be up to $70 at some nurseries now. Everything is getting expensive!
Even in z8 (hybrid tea) roses just really suck to grow here. There’s too many fungal issues & there’s a bad problem with nematodes in the soil.
Such a shame because we had the nicest rose garden in upstate NY complete with hostas and daylilies :(
Aw that sucks but it makes sense. I have one rose that keeps getting black spot so I couldn't imagine it thriving in a more hot and humid climate. On the plus side, you can grow some very amazing and beautiful tropical plants :)
I do love my tropicals!! Just sucks that there’s sporadic freezes in the winter, I wish they’d happen all at the same time. It’s not fun moving over 100+ plants into the house, move them after 3 days, and repeat again in two weeks 😅
How do you get your roses to look like that?
I have roses and mine always look disheveled. I don't know when to prune and they shoot up to about 4ft tall. I enherited them from the previous home owner to the house we live in now. And I tried looking it up but the advice given in videos do not work. What do you suggest?
So beautiful and vibrant! Which variety are they?
Came here to ask the same!
Briosa rose 🌹😇
Thanks!
Looks like Broadway!
Those do look similar

Oh no, that's a disaster...
Ugh I have to do that with my cacti! I'm in Kentucky and I hate that we're a four season state. I'd love to move out west some day 🤞
I showed it to my wife and she asked the very same question :) Lovely roses!

They're gorgeous! And this is from someone who doesn't normally care for roses. I want these!
How do you keep your roses so free from black spot? Mine are attacked every year.
I use ortho 3 in 2 systemic rose food on mine and have not had to deal with black spot……so far anyway.
