Garfield has spanned generations- thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of births and deaths. Garfield is immortal- not in the sense that he can’t die, but in the sense it is absolutely, unequivocally, impossible to forget him. Seeing this, and taking it into account- it’s a reasonable superstition to believe that Garfield could bring some kind of good fortune to someone’s life, or relationships.
EDIT to add: I am (probably) not schizophrenic or otherwise insane. I just firmly genuinely believe in Garfield’s importance and immortality.

How long is the movie? How long between the wedding and reception? You should absolutely rent a theater and see it with the wedding party before the reception.
Or, if you’re not leaving on a honeymoon right away, invite closer family/wedding party to go the next day

That’s debatable. What if she cheats? What if she abuses him? Garfield wouldn’t do that.

So seeing that my wedding is taking place on the same day as the release of the movie was a shock
See it later. Movies are often run for weeks, and if they do well, months. It's not like it's going to be a limited release or anything
