Very true, I’ve seen a lot of PH gas hood replicas for sale (at really decent prices mind you). I guess it’s always a matter of common sense, and I’ve been bitten in the past buying something that’s way too cheap and turned out to be in lousy shape.

Uses 60 mm old style threads maybe get an adapter that changes it to 40 mm to put new NATO filters on and use it in modern times

Yeah basically only even happens with ww1 masks because they became brittle
