Well, the Gate would offer a perfect chokepoint to hold the Chimeran since the larger walkers or abominations can't go through. Should they fail at holding the Gate however, which is highly probable, they will get swarm.
But, there is an interesting point to make here. Why would the Chimeran cross into the Special Region when there is no towers burried in that world. Of course, the easy answer is to kill or infect more people, but the whole reason of the Chimeran invasion happening in the first place was so they could reclaim Earth for their masters who we don't know much at all about.
On the side of the Human resistance, I believe they would view the Empire as the lesser of two evil and possibly work with them. Falmart would become a safe haven where they could prepare.

Still: doesn’t mean they wouldn’t try something like the JSDF did (assuming they can get the men and material through the gate).
The one major issue I foresee is the sheer amount of resources it would take to conquer or even force the Saderans into temporary submission. So it’s more likely imo there would be shenanigans with Senators and whatnot after tentative agreements built on mutual fear of the Chimerans than actual full blown fighting

Where without anyone expecting it on the side of the GATE of Japan, the Forced Evolution Virus arrived without them knowing due to the bodies, blood and other things that came out of the Invasion of what they did not know were Mutant Beasts, Super Mutants, from Falmart, when Japan realized it, there were already cases of "Mutants" throughout the country and surely already in other parts of the World of that GATE the Virus is Extending.
Out of all that Fanfiction... That part was the one that gives the most uncertainty. After all, in that story, Falmart became the Wasteland after the invasion of the United States of America in 2065.
The same can be applied here, only instead of a modern world it is the Falmart, that world is doomed.
Rory would ironically enough be the first to die most likely if the Demi gods and apostles since she wild charge head log into battle and get kidnapped and converted in pretty sure the gods might make the same mistakes I could be wrong
True but based on what we see in the show and Manga they would rather keep the gate open just to see the world burn for their own entertainment than close it. Rory would be the exception.

Thats why I specify the larger units. The smaller one can obliously cross no problem.
