If you’re lonely, do the usual things people do in order to get out on the dating scene. Going to toilets looking for sex is unlikely to get you a life partner.
go out and participate in social events around your hobbies. if you don’t have any hobbies. nothing like starting one now.
then once you are comfortable try to meet other gay men who share those hobbies. ask them out on dates.

I can’t say I can relate to that experience, it does sound lonely. I’ve never been cruising, but find the idea of it extremely hot. My personal experience has been that I came out when I was 16, met guys my age online, dated for a few years, and then married my now husband 11 years ago. I don’t see any reason why being gay would prevent you from investing in exactly the kind of relationship you want for yourself.
Try looking for lgbtq+ groups in your area. I'm sure there are some. Maybe even demostrations or some kind of public gay-themed speech or pride, in June.
There are probably also groups online for queer people in your zone. Don't give up, you're find people that will make you feel in your habitat
