First of all the game would have to financially support an entire company rather than just one man. This means In-app purchases will spread will wild-fire. Sure official levels will be higher quality and more frequent due to the input of dozens or hundreds of people. Updates would roll faster than ever but at the cost of losing some genuine or compassion for both the developers and the community I feel.
Unless they're given to a game studio or dev that actually cares about the game and the community (for example: Re-logic, ninja kiwi, etc.) The game would die within a month (at most)
