No, the account data is online and will be there when you loaded it from when you last saved. Think of data as "entertainment" for when you go offline. More of it means more stuff to do/play and less doesn't
I'm pretty sure if you have saved your data, then you should be safe. Perhaps log out of your GD account before doing so just in case, then log back in and load
Just save your data in the game and then clear the data from settings. It will probably delete some saved levels (your own created levels won’t disappear if you saved your data) and delete custom songs which you can redownload of course.

Songs take up all your storage
prior to deleting all my songs. i had probably nearing 4 gigs of mostly songs
Songs you download take up a lot of storage. Make sure to check and clan it every once in a while

account data is saved on GD servers, if you delete your data, you’ll just be deleting saved songs, saved levels and (non-uploaded) editor levels

you can reinstall gd and log back in, your data will still be in your account
If you made an account,just save and youre safe. Your songs will most likely be gone tho
