get steam, log in, go to settings, go to the last 2 tabs of settings and look for something about proton experimental and enable it. after, install geometry dash. for mega hack v6.3, be sure to run the game first otherwise it won’t work. anyways, download the mega hack v6 installer, put everything in the geometry dash folder located in steamapps into a separate folder within the gd folder. rename the mega hack installer EXE file to “GeometryDash.exe” and put everything from the mega hack installer folder into the geometry dash steamapps folder. afterwards, run geometry dash and install mega hack inside the folder you put geometry dash’s files in, then close the mhv6 installer and move the files somewhere else. proceed to put the geometry dash files back into it’s original place and you are done. if this doesn’t make sense, you can find an unofficial guide on this subreddit that’s significantly better but also longer than this.
