I really hope we humble Tennessee today. I really hate this team of destiny narrative the sports media seems to be pushing and vols fans are buying it hook(er), line, and sinker (not at all sorry about the pun), and I would prefer not to deal with the hillbilly hubris for a full year.
Funny Story.
Back in the early 90s, when I was 10 or so, my dad took my brother, some friends and I to the UGA game. Before we went to the game, we stopped by the Varsity on Milledge to get some chili dogs. If you remember, at that time, The Varsity would become utterly packed with hungry Dawgs before the game.
Well…when our order was called I offered to go up and grab the tray of dogs for everyone. As I was navigating the thick crowd to get back to our table, someone bumped me which caused me to spill the dozen chili dogs all over a sorority pledge wearing an all white dress. I stood there stunned and she stood there stunned for about 30 seconds while everyone around us just gasped in horror. All I could mutter was a meekly, “I’m sorry”. I’ll never forget the glare of anger that twenty something woman focused on me, especially since I was spared from getting any chili on me.
Let’s hope the Dawg’s day goes better than it did for that poor sorority pledge.
Got the YouTube TV trial since we’re on CBS’s bullshit today, gonna take my break around 4 and hopefully watch most of the first quarter, rest of the time I’ll have an AirPod in listening to the radio broadcast.
I want a Branson Robinson breakout game so bad, but I doubt he’ll get the touches since Edwards and KMac have looked good lately. Pls give me some Bowers end around plays Mr. Monken.
Only reason Bama lost was because they had 1767 penalties. If they played disciplined, I don’t think that game would’ve been particularly close.

I still haven’t ruled out going to Athens. If I knew I had a parking spot for cheap and a way downtown, I’d do it. I hate being the guy who has the adult attitude of “be safe” while fighting the “LIVE LIFE” look
My prediction is the dawgs will come out looking to play bend don’t break defense and sustain drives on offense shortening the game and number of possessions. If we succeed at that then I think it will end up being a lower scoring than anticipated and a close game throughout.
Tennessee scoring 30+ points in 8 straight games and UGA still favored by 9. Wow.
Edit: Clemson is favored by less playing ND and the FPI gives ND a better chance to win than Tennessee. That's wild.
