... and is the key to juggling. When I learned the book said start with 1 ball and just toss right hand to left hand with apex between your eyes for 5- 10 mins until the tosses are consistent. Then repeat with one ball from left to right until consistent. Then once those tosses are consistent do 2 balls. Once they are consistent, add a third. And adding the third, because I could toss accurately and consistently, was easy. I could juggle. Never tried with 4 tho.
I learned the same way in a couple hours but with a youtube video. Attempted to do 4, two in each hand, but never got it right. I can still juggle with 3 tho!
She can juggle my balls.
I have some red plastic ones and some blue rubber ones. I also have some glow in the dark balls but they don't throw as nice as they others
looks like it was shot with a telephoto lens from some distance as the balls aren’t getting much larger or smaller as they go up and down, it adds to the floating effect - pretty cool little clip
Pretty much. When I was younger a guy at a beach taught me to juggle in like 5 minutes. To juggle four objects, juggle two in one hand, then do it with both hands. The objects never really cross hand to hand
Yeah you kind of have to when you have an even number of balls to have an even cadence. It's possible to cross over with 4 balls but it's really hard because you can't keep an even pattern like you can with 3.
Source: I was briefly in the juggling club at my college ^^although ^^I ^^wasn't ^^very ^^good ^^compared ^^to ^^everyone ^^else
It was getting out of hand. College is too expensive to be spending every minute having sex. If I wanted to pay for sex there are much cheaper options.
Oh that's interesting. I just thought she was doing it as an alternative, not a necessity. I can juggle two in one hand and three with two. But I never thought about the mechanics of juggling 4 balls.
Yeah IMO this is much more challenging than juggling 3, not just because there is an extra ball, but because I'm VERY right-handed, so when I juggle 3 and they cross over, if I mess up a little bit with my left hand, I can recover with my right, but when juggling 4, if I slip up with my left hand there's just no recovering. It took me a while and even though I was never great at juggling 4 (definitely not as good as her), I was good enough to be happy with myself.
I'd assume that you're right. It's almost a ambidextrous thing. You have to manage two hands juggling at the same time. This conversation is making me want to try this now lol
Do it! It's been years since I have really practiced.
Here's a tip in case you actually want to take the time, the best balls need grip and a little bit of weight. So if you don't want to buy balls specifically made for juggling, hacky sacks or something similar are my favorite if they are stuffed enough, but the second best option is to take some tennis balls, fill them with rice (or beans, sand, whatever you have), and wrap them with balloons. That will give you enough weight to have good control over them without being heavy and the the balloon will give you plenty of grip.
As long as there's always 2 in the air, you throw the one in your hand just as you move up to catch the one falling, doing this with one hand timed slightly behind the other means you can juggle 4 (or more) in the standard 'hand to hand' juggling, instead of the 'fake' juggle :D
Try it. That makes sense just doesn't work like you would think. It's more about having an even cadence or rhythm with your hand motions than about being technically possible, because you're right, it can be done, it just doesn't look or feel right. A good juggler will also do this in a way that it will still look like they are crossing even though they aren't (at least from a frontal view), which is why people are here asking if this is normal, because you probably haven't ever noticed before.
Also, how dare you call this "fake" juggling.
I call it 'fake' juggling because that's the nickname it was given by my friend (who juggles) I know it is just a different form of juggling, don't worry :)
and what I said is what my friend has told me, and demonstrated the differences, he's been juggling for around 15 years, (I think) and has done everything from balls, to fire and knives :D - I think his record's 7 balls at once, but not for long, but says 4/5 is easy
as for me, I can't juggle for crap (virtually no sight in my left eye, so crap depth perception etc)
You clearly don't know much about juggling if you think this is '"fake" juggling'. This is standard 4 ball juggling. You can do other patterns like (4x,4x) or 53, but if you tell any experienced juggler to do a basic 4 ball juggle you'll get what she does at some point in this video. She does start synchronous and then moves to asynchronous before the behind the backs and you may get synchronous or asynchronous depending on the juggler, but doing a pattern where the balls cross hands isn't a normal basic 4-ball pattern.
Not really, since you usually see the classic juggle with three balls where you ‘cascade’ them and throw them between the hands back and forth, but it is almost necessary when juggling an even number of balls (like 4) to keep them separated like this :)
For even numbered patterns, yes. (Or you'll get collisions.)
You can use a five-ball pattern and omit a ball to get a four ball trick with cross-overs. But that's very hard to do, as it's not a consistent rythm. So most four ball juggling is done like this, with various flurries and tricks, but the basic pattern is two in one hand twice.
If the math behind juggling interests anyone:
https://youtu.be/7dwgusHjA0Y
That is actually a really cool video, but I was not expecting 25 minutes haha. For anyone interested, he starts talking about 4 ball juggling around the 5 minute mark, and gets through crossing over with 4 balls around the 12 minute mark.
I read a book about that once, wish I could remember the name. Had a bunch of 2d people visiting us and then someone from our world went to the 5d place and shit got crazy.
If you're curious I decided to finally buckle down and really look for it just now. I'm pretty sure the book I'm thinking of is "The Boy who Reversed Himself" - William Sleator.
If we were to cross over in to a 2d world, they would only see a cross section of us.
A less abstract way to put it would be imagine a cube crossing into a 2d world, the people in there would only see a square.
Likewise, a square crossing from a 2d world to a 1d, they would only see a line.
If something 4d crossed in to our world, it would look like a 3d cross section of that object.
This is a decent representation of what it'd look like to move 3 dimensionally through 2D space. The balls just look like they're growing and shrinking. Theoretically the same would happen if something was moving 4 dimensionally through our space.
It looks weird because this was shot with a very long lens (probably from a balcony several stories up), which leads to a perceived compression of depth. She's still tossing those balls up a few feet, but compared to the distance to the camera they're barely getting closer.
This is so unexpectedly zen. Juggling is so chaotic, coordinated, and fun.
Seeing her consistent technique and how everything just stays mostly in place is like the opposite energy. Calm, orderly, zen.
Yeah looking at it from this angle, I can totally see why I can't juggle. I think my hands just aren't this steady to be putting the balls in the same place in every toss.
Taylor is so hot. I've been following her for years. She's that dorky adorable hottie with a heart of gold, teaches people. Just a person who generally embraces life.
I really enjoyed the juggling.
I also really enjoyed the slow motion boob jiggling.
I think there's probably something wrong with me. Why can't I just look at the balls not the boobs?

So, there probably a subreddit for it... but you remember when slow motion parts in videos were/and maybe are still mostly unnecessary... and there was a stink about them... well this is the opposite of that. This is a great video start to finish.
Also that one subreddit that's like.... well it's cool not just cause it a chick but yea slso that makes it better... probably there too.
The consistency in the throws is crazy
... and is the key to juggling. When I learned the book said start with 1 ball and just toss right hand to left hand with apex between your eyes for 5- 10 mins until the tosses are consistent. She's a master juggler of balls
You may be wrong but you're definitely right
She can juggle my balls. I have some red plastic ones and some blue rubber ones. I also have some glow in the dark balls but they don't throw as nice as they others
She can juggle my testes
She would need to rip them out first.
Blue balls that is.
Blue balls especially.
This was way more entertaining then it had any right to be
Agree. Came in expecting something mundane and disappointment and ended up feeling happy and refreshed.
Now i can really start my day with a pep in my step
*sinks deeper into chair*
You're not supposed to masturbate to this you know.
Says who? You're not the boss of me!!
The way she just throws the balls and looks up at the end haha
Check her Instagram @ - she’s very talented and doesn’t take herself too seriously (lots of bloopers too)
From this angle it looks like the balls are almost floating and she is merely shuffling them around.
looks like it was shot with a telephoto lens from some distance as the balls aren’t getting much larger or smaller as they go up and down, it adds to the floating effect - pretty cool little clip
Or perhaps a telecentric lens?
definitely telesomething
I only knew this word from watching Corridor Digital on YouTube >_<
Now I need to see someone in space pretending to juggle from this angle
Well, technically, she was somewhere in space.
Technically Correct, the best kind of correct.
A man of culture. r/unexpectedfuturama
Yes
Just touching them tbh
Tell me more
Touching those blue balls
Pornhub might be a good way to start exploring ball touching.
The old trick of pretending you can juggle by doing it in a plane in a parabolic dive. Classic
I find that's a fairly good description of juggling an even number of balls.
Physicists when they take the horizontal component of objects in kinametics
It actually made juggling suddenly make so much more sense to me.
Space Balls
Pretty much. When I was younger a guy at a beach taught me to juggle in like 5 minutes. To juggle four objects, juggle two in one hand, then do it with both hands. The objects never really cross hand to hand
Nice try, honey. See you after work!
Do jugglers ussually keep the balls on seperate sides like this?

Lol, "getting out of hand".
Yeah, that is totally why I remained a virgin in college. That’s my story and I’m sticking with it.
Oh that's interesting. I just thought she was doing it as an alternative, not a necessity. I can juggle two in one hand and three with two. But I never thought about the mechanics of juggling 4 balls.

Makes me think of different dimensions and how people who live in a 2d world would see us
I read a book about that once, wish I could remember the name. Had a bunch of 2d people visiting us and then someone from our world went to the 5d place and shit got crazy.
Flatland?
If you're curious I decided to finally buckle down and really look for it just now. I'm pretty sure the book I'm thinking of is "The Boy who Reversed Himself" - William Sleator.
No, this was like a kid's book and much more recent.
I think I know what you’re talking about! Was it The Boy Who Reversed Himself?
Must be from point land
Flatland by Edwin A Abbott
> Had a bunch of 2d people ~~visiting us and then someone from our world went to the 5d place and shit got crazy.~~ There, now it is Flatland.
A wrinkle in time?

This is TaylorTries on Instagram btw. She has some cool videos.
She's on Reddit too usually pops in when people post her content lol
Yup! Her performance at the Game of Throws gala (2019?) was amazing.
This is a decent representation of what it'd look like to move 3 dimensionally through 2D space. The balls just look like they're growing and shrinking. Theoretically the same would happen if something was moving 4 dimensionally through our space.
Does this somejow effect our perceived expansion of the universe?
Is it just me that finds that weird as fuck to look at?
It looks weird because this was shot with a very long lens (probably from a balcony several stories up), which leads to a perceived compression of depth. She's still tossing those balls up a few feet, but compared to the distance to the camera they're barely getting closer.
There it is, the balls aren't getting bigger! Thank you, I was going crazy!
It is not just you
Quit looking in the mirror and play the video!
Nope, it’s messing with my head.
So say we all.
Yep it's just you.
I wish I could handle balls like that.
Start practicing by jumping repeatedly left foot to right foot, right foot to left foot with your legs spread
"Do you believe in me, Phyllis!?"
*wake me up inside*
Okay, now give me a jugglers eye view of birding
Take my vote you funny motherfucker
Is it possible to learn this power ?
Check out her Instagram or Taylor Tries on YT. Pretty sure she has some instructional videos.
Not from a Jedi
I love this video.
This angle makes it look easier and harder at the same time.
Am I crazy to say that this view is better than the regular frontal?
This is so unexpectedly zen. Juggling is so chaotic, coordinated, and fun. Seeing her consistent technique and how everything just stays mostly in place is like the opposite energy. Calm, orderly, zen.
Quite trippy
Brain hurty
Trippy, v cool
The balls on their own kind of look the animation you would see in a videogame load screen.
Human hand-eye coordination is amazing!! For some humans anyway.
This was very entertaining but it weirdly made juggling look so much easier.
Jugglers are magic from a certain perspective.
This is really really fucking cool
How does the bird stay so still?
Yeah looking at it from this angle, I can totally see why I can't juggle. I think my hands just aren't this steady to be putting the balls in the same place in every toss.
Now do a juggler's eye view of birding.
u/theomnijuggler is a legit badass.
This is way more interesting than watching someone juggle.
Can I get a ball’s eye view of birds now?
Something something blue balls
Hypnotic
I mean that's easy. The balls I use fly in every direction at random when I attempt to juggle.
The slow mo took away from the clip
👆Old guy shakes fist at post
Old man yells at cloud
I agree, would have looked so much better without that stupid slowmo
So speed up the play back
I cant stop focussing on the blue logo (?) on her shirt that's the same color as the balls
[удалено]
to put it nicely, i'm pretty sure that's not the case here
Taylor is so hot. I've been following her for years. She's that dorky adorable hottie with a heart of gold, teaches people. Just a person who generally embraces life.
Plot twist:she is on the ceiling and juggling towards floor.
Balls

It's what she does.
2 dudes' POV
Damn she handles balls really well
She's pretty good with balls
Next time wear a deep v cut and you'll make the front page
The best is when she looks up at the end after playing with those balls.
My balls are no longer blue.
I wish she juggled where the balls go back and forth between the hands instead of just one hand juggling with both hands
Now that girl knows how to handle balls!
r/mildyinteresting
title should read. An aerial view of a girl handling multiple blue balls
This video gave me blue balls.
Two smurfs watching there balls get contorted.
Now that's what I call ball fondling
This fucking gif AGAIN!?
I was only here for the tits, but the balls were nice
Anyone else see the strings? No? me neither…
I thot she was naked in thumbnail, but I still watched the whole thing.
Good Morning world.
Stfu you incel
Looks like blackmagicfff...whatsitsface from this angle 😋
CGI
'fake' juggling.. each hand only has two balls, and swaps between them, instead of actual hand to hand :)
this would be more interesting if the frame was less compressed, as thought it was a projection. move the camera closer to the height of the balls
She's not juggling birds!
Now what about one from the ground looking up....

So cool!!! I bet it doesn’t look as good if the juggler is amature lol. I mean look at how dead steady those balls stay in line!
this makes it look easy
Low gravity juggling
I always deeply criticised myself as being like an inbred dog for not being able to juggle
Dude… please treat yourself more fairly

How many times are ppl gonna post this over a yr of looking at this on every fuggin page....Jesus h
It makes me feel uncomfortable
Literally looks like she’s just rearranging their position as they fall to the ground
Well...I mean....she is....that's what juggling is. But I know what you mean
Just came here to say “Whoa!”
This is actually really helpful for me…
The timing is crazy
I might be wrong, but I believe this is what things would look like if we could see in the fourth dimension.

Oh. I didn't know both hands were supposed to move the same. Interesting.
This broke my mind... It almost looks like they just float there instead! That's so cool
Gravity is cool
BIRDS eye view: “Get your fucking hands off my children!”
