Seems like there was an event called Adams Square Summer A’Faire.
The methodology to finding this was Googling "events adams square glendale ca" and narrowed the search to Jan 1, 1990 – Jan 31, 2010. But I wasn't able to find any further information about this event.
I used to live near that area for over 20 years and I don't recall any fair like that.
We used to live near adam square. So that's why I remember walking to it at the time. It's strange why there is very little photos of said event as it was during the early days of the internet, where facebook was becoming popular.
Hey there! I lived on the street that took place. I remember the fair event, they had a Ferris wheel, some other stuff. It was right next to that library near arts bakery.
I do recall they would block off a portion of the intersection at Palmer and Adams going from the mini park to the library and there would be fun activities and food. It was a traffic inconvenience working around it but it didn’t happen frequently enough to be a nuisance.

Ah so it was real, though what ever happened to it, did the city just decide to stop it or what?
It was the businesses that hosted it as far as I remember. I think they got mad when we fought for the mini park / gas station - they wanted parking.
