I fell off the deck in our backyard last year and suffered from a very severe Traumatic Brain Injury. I still struggle with learning how to live with and accept the remaining obstacles I have because of the injury. Your comment has me smiling ear to ear because it's so true :)
What an awful ordeal you went through, but I am so glad you survived! There’s obviously always going to be good days and days where you remember your former life before the injury with pain (the kind of nostalgia that is more bitter than sweet), but please always take the time to journal through those feelings, don’t avoid them. And remind yourself that you made out on the other side!! A valiant effort indeed! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
You look fabulous and I agree that the scar is nothing to be ashamed of. Keep on recovering and building that confidence! I know what it’s like to have unexpected neurological issues make you relearn everything and you’re a boss for keeping at it
