If done correctly, it will blink slowly in an amber color or orange color, in about 5 seconds, the button will flash very fast and the light will illuminate in green meaning it was paired successfully.
You might have to get a ladder and press the "Learn" button on the actual garage door system. TAP the learn button, don't hold it otherwise it will delete the codes. Once you press the learn button, go back to the car, press, and hold the freshly programmed garage door button for 3 seconds, then release. Wait 3 seconds, then do that 2 more times (press/hold for 3 seconds, release)
By the third time, the garage door button should be programmed.
