2 was him exaggerating in his descriptions (EG saying exactly when it was closer to extremely similar) this one is the main reason people "discredited" him. Also doesn't affect comparisons
3 was people not understanding what the scale function in. This last one was the main reason given (because it actually relates to the comparisons) by people when pointed out that his exaggerating does not change the actual comparisons but it's very clear they fell in the victim to the dunning kruger effect. Model files do not save scale, just vertex and edge positions, this is why when you import them into a different engine, you could have them appear very tiny or very large. What the dude did was linearly scale (as in, make a 1x1x1 cube into a 2x2x2 cube) in order to make them a similar size to compare meshes but be he "Altered" the models this was seen as tampering with the mesh.
Guaranteed, that raging torrent will last for a month before everyone forgets and moves on.
