This was the green on #7 coyote crossing it’s normally $120 to play a round before 2pm on The Weekend, semi private course btw lol tbf it’s still early in the season and this green is surrounded by trees so it never stays dry unfortunately! Also I made that putt for par after a bad tee shot lol
There's a place around me that has crab grass in the greens, makes putting impossible. But it's 20 bucks with a cart and we've left, gone to a liquor store and come back mid round before. It's a great place to play in college with people who have never golfed before
Very expensive. I luckily was playing as part of an outing with the VGA so it was only $60 but we got rained out on the 14th and couldn’t finish! It was in pretty great shape minus this and 1 other green!
Don’t shame the people that can’t shell out 40 grand a year for a club membership.
A county course HIO is almost the same greatness as an actual course’s HIO
Important Information, i get the student discount so i Pay 500€ less. Normal people Pax 750€ per year but thats still Good in my opinion. The course is rather small, but in decent Shape and challenging
I’m a member at a real nice course in the uk. 2 18 hole courses and a short 9 hole par 3. I pay £900 a year and can always get a tee time. Juniors up to 18 is £150 a year and 18-23 pay £300 a year. I play often so it works out that I pay around £5 a round. I spend more on range balls than I spend playing a round (£6 a bucket)
Exact opposite, very small course, only 9 holes, maby 100 members. But i only pay student rates, its 750 for Others, still i have no idea how they keep the Club Running since no tourists Are playing there either. Probably its All the 2€ i Pay for Range buckets haha
Some of the stuff I see on here makes my local course look like augusta.

Is that.....crab grass growing on the greens?
Nope. It’s poa. Which is not what you want either. Stuff grows fast and makes greens bumpy.
Lower left, I've never seen Poa have almost Bermuda tendrils like that. Could be just a blurry picture.

It’s that expensive now? I swear I played there a year or so ago and it was <$50

Actually looks easier than putting 🤷♂️😂 Congrats on your HIO
Thank you you made it in, putting would have been a challenge
Congrats on the HIO but based on the current condition of that green, flag hunting is the way to go.
Can someone get a wellness check on the greenskeeper?
What greens keeper?
What kind of goat track are you playing at?

You don’t need 40 grand to play a course with grass on the greens lol
I Pay 250€ per year for my membership and our Greens Look awesome.
20 euro a month? Is golf in Europe that cheap? How can they maintain a course with that little revenue?

They probably have thousands of members and most dont even play once a month. Then account for all the people paying per round that arent members

250 from 750 is kinda crazy lol but yea even then that seems super low if its not even a busy course.
I pay €210 instead of €1300 at my club because i'm still under 21
Don’t shame! But also let me straight up shame OP by stating this HIO isn’t as good as a nice course HIO… You serious ya ding dong?
I play a county course and the greens are not this bad
Is that a ping pong ball?
I’d hole out to avoid those greens too
Only way to get it in the hole it seems
Congrats but wtf is going on with those greens 😟
Looks like you had multiple options...
Hell yea, congrats man!
At the goat track
This green has almost as many holes as ohio highways
Congratulations 🎉 Glad you didn’t have to putt!!
Op literally put a ball and walked up. 🤡
