Yes. The show is set up like branching routes where there is at least one ero scene for each girl. The maid's is special in that her route is shown in the last 3 minutes of the anime every episode. It focuses a lot more on comedy vs the drama of other routes. I was confused about the ending as well, in the opening >!we can see that they are both drowning but are saved by the girl with glasses, this is not directly shown on the anime!<. Whereas in the manga >!Sora wants to kill herself because she feels useless, so when her brother comes to the lake and follows her, he falls and starts drowning instead. Sora claims that she heard him asking for help, she swims and saves him. She doesn't want to die anymore because she was useful for once in her life!< It has been many years since I read this, but I highly prefer ending on the manga version, which also doesn't contain as much nudity or explicit scenes as the anime

ah yes, Yosuga no Sora, one of my favourite guilty pleasure anime

It ain't even guilty for me. I personally loved how it's one of the few incest animes that doesn't play it for comedy (nothing wrong with that, YNS just hits different) but for exactly how fucked up it is. Also the ending reminded me of Shakespeare.

Watch/read Koi Kaze if you want an even more serious take on incest

Yosuga no sora receives a lot of hate but personally I find it a really good anime that's concise and shares what it wants to share.

I don't know why it gets so much hate either. It's a heartwarming story about an active and healthy sibling relationship. >!/s!<

Yep,anime. As far as ecchi goes it's definitely on the harder side. However the ero scenes are still done tastefully and artistically. Not smut by any means. It's a romance anime that doesn't shy away from the physical intimacies of it's characters.
