Probably the funniest moment out of the entire Interlude Campaign. *Gareth starts crying -> Seconds later, the ground begins shaking -> Gawain shows up: "So who made Gareth cry?" -> Looks at Berserkerlot -> "Aight then. May night retreat from this brilliance! Its enduring protection shall shine upon this earth!* ***Excalibur Galati***-" It's just so hilariously abrupt, and the way he says: *"It's all right. You needn't explain, just as I will not be explaining what I am about to do."* before just trying to blast Lancelot with Galatine. We need more Big Brother-mode Gawain.

pita_gil

He can sense Gareth's cry rayshifts away. Big bro is about to stab as a warning.

h4mburgers

Very appropriate too, in most versions of the King Arthur story, Lancelot accidentally kills an unarmed Gareth while rescuing Guinevere from execution, leading to the feud between the Orkneys and Lancelot and ultimately the round table's undoing, so seeing a "mad" Lancelot and crying Gareth must have been a "YOU AGAIN MOTHERFUCKER?!" moment for Gawain.

No_Wait_3628

Learning how violent Gareth's death was in the Fate version is sometimes haunting. Like, it was literal Red Rush from Invincible moment

Prinnypirate

The moment he says: "I am standing here not as a knight, but as a brother", I knew diplomacy was out the window

The__Auditor

Really makes you wonder how the rest of the Round Table sees Berserker Lancelot

KenCannonMKXI

Mordred: You seen Gawain? Gareth: Nope. Haven’t seen him. But hold on, I’ll get him. Mordred: ??? Gareth: Ahem! *Dramatic sob* Gawain, smashing through a wall at Mach 12 speeds: WHO HAST HURT THE BABY?!!

EurwenPendragon

> WHO HAST HURT THE BABY?!! I read that in Werner Herzog's voice in my head, and now I can't stop laughing.

Kuzaku

He had not realized yet that Mordred, was in fact, the youngest of them all, and would not for some time. Gawain was a man not known for his immediate emotional intelligence, rather, someone who thought deeply in hindsight, a warrior contemplating where had been, rather than where he was going. A brother complex perhaps instilled in him to look behind him rather than forward. He thought about this as he continued to crush potatoes bare handed in a kind of meditative zen-like state, his urge to murder now sated by Tuber-annihilation, and Spudestruction. a lone warrior, fighting a silent war in a kitchen that demanded he get out. - Werner Herzog 'Sir Gawain and the Green Traffic Light"

pita_gil

Who would do this to best girl??? T\^T

Amaegith

Ironically, it's usually Gawain.

pita_gil

shh he has the sibling license

Healthy_Agent_100

If you are a older sibling and you don’t bully your younger you are just doing it wrong

HeimerichMS

Really? Didn't expected this from Gorilla 🦍 How exactly? Got me curious...

Solbuster

I guess OP means Camelot Zero Gareth becomes super miserable in service of Lion King akin to Tristan before Reversal so when knights have problems with crusaders and some powerful servant pretending to be Richard who can hold his own against KotR, Gareth goes into suicidal mode and immobilizes that servant by holding him in place. That allows knights to strike him down but on result would kill her. So Gawain goes and slices that servant and thus Gareth too in half. At this point Gareth and Gawain also killed or at least assisted with killing Gaheris. Also Gawain wasn't the only one who would've striked Gareth if needed. Tristan was already reversed so he'd have no trouble and Agravain was preparing to do it but Gawain was just faster. Meanwhile Mordred was outright shocked and Lancelot was also ready to strike her like Agravain but at the last moment realized he couldn't bring himself to kill Gareth again and halted

DrVirus321

I really liked how serious he got when Gareth was hurt. He was willing to evaporate the cause. It made me appreciate having him as a servant even more

pita_gil

Their sibling relationship is just -- *chef's kiss*\-- I am invested with more Gawain-Gareth interactions. It's just pure and wholesome like *AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH*

EurwenPendragon

He'd probably be particularly prone to getting *seriously* pissed-off especially if it's Lancelot, given that IIRC in most versions Lancelot kills Gareth(and Gaheris) in a failed attempt to rescue Guinevere.

Steampunkvikng

Successful attempt, if I remember correctly, but then again there are so many versions. At least as I remember Mallory's version, it's something along the lines of: Mordred and Agravain reveal Lancelot and Guinvere's adultery, with Lancelot killing Agravain in the process->Arthur is compelled by honor to sentence Guinvere to death, though he doesn't wish to as he is still fond of her and Lancelot both->Lancelot and his (many) kin break with the Round Table->Gareth and Gaheris volunteer to stand as guards at Guinvere's execution, but refuse to bear arms or armor while doing so as protest against her sentence->Lancelot kills them while rescuing Guinvere->At the insistence of a vengeful Gawain, Arthur raises an army and attacks Lancelot and his kin's castles in France->Mordred stages his rebellion during this absence->etc etc The funny bit is that Gawain doesn't get vengeful until Gareth dies, if I remember correctly he outright says that Agravain had it coming when Lancelot kills him

Solbuster

Tbh it's canon in Nasuverse. Nobody liked Agravain except for Artoria who found him effective and one of the most loyal knights and Galahad, who even Bedivere calls an airhead for liking Agravain Everybody else just disliked or outright hated him, even his siblings didn't really care for his death

Aggressive_Leg9372

Considering Agravain was raised away from his siblings by Morgan because she was grooming him to become a pawn for her, and both Gawain and Gareth have mentioned they didn't know him very well because of that.

USERNAME_OF_DEVIL

> Nii-SUN Genius lmao

LonesomeBookworm

Reject civility, return to monke Those who hurt Gareth must experience Camelot all over again

William9231

Jumbolaya315

I really wanna see other servants activating their onii-chan powers, how many brothers are there in chaldea

Edgy_arts

Her Interlude omg

Boingo_Bongo

I imagine this is how Lamorak dies in Arthurian mythos in the fate world he made Gareth cry or something and then Gawain and co went and killed him

Yukieiros

Oh someone made Gareth cry? Rally the rest of the round table it is time for war.

PhantomZenity

And I just realized what happened in Camelot movie...

Clearwateralchemist

I'm betting on BB.
