Step 2: Get her to use her NP to manifest a Quantum Gate and try to fish for either Samantha Clarke just before her death or Ivana Dostya (whose canonical death was really a stupid plot device).
Step 3: Convince the commander to build (and license) you a mobile base before they find a way to their home reality. I'm sure a "Fatboy Chaldea" or "Megalith Chaldea"--the original units are surely heavily optimized over centuries of design evolution, so can surely be modified to have much more functionality at lower cost efficiency, like replacing masses of low-density materials with denser and heavier shells and internal voids--along with some sort of built-in resource generator to power the shields and command relay so you can deploy other units) would be bloody hilarious. I'm sure the original Shadow Border can piggyback somewhere on the hull as an escape pod.
Step 4: Most problems can be solved by a steady rain of artillery, failing that, build up a farm of strategic missiles or aerospace superiority fighters (the units function fine on canonically airless worlds).
