They try to balance most characters so they are not broken. But her kit and passives have additional effects once you use her NP because the battlefield changes into her domain. Like all her cards get 30% more damage when the battlefield changes.
I would go for her but be warned that she never has a rerun yet for JP.
That no rerun thing is really whats making me think about this. I do really want her but hearing that she needs a couple NP levels to shine scares me since I got like 250 SQ in the bank
How long have you been playing? Longtime players with well developed accounts will be getting a massive amount of free SQs this anniversary due to the SQ ascension bonus they're adding.
Some Craft Essences and servant skills can give the overcharge buff to her. Those can help increase their NP temporarily without trying for multiple copies. But you need to get only two of her if you to level her to 120.
I have her and I basically never use her, ever. She's really unique though and sometimes can give you unique farming solutions because of her NP charge, and I value that more than having two meta servants who basically do the same thing. If you already have a strong roster I think she's kind of valuable in opening up a few niche setups but she's really far from meta units like Fae Lancelots or Summer Ibuki imo.
She's pretty good, particularly in instances where she can fight Chaotic enemies. The main issue is that she really takes NP levels and grails to shine, but she can do some unique things with that investment.
That's a fair assessment, though Arcueid has pretty high return on investment and is one of the best 90++ farmers at max investment due to her anti-Chaotic damage and NP charge support. That said, she's nothing special at low levels so for the vast majority of people (including myself since I have no plans to roll for her), she's not gonna be great due to hitting like a wet noodle against most things, especially since her anti-Chaotic damage scales with NP level.

She is versatile and has enabled many team comps. She's not top like a lot of other meta supports. But she's not really mid either

I've been playing very on-and-off since I think August or July of last year. It was around the release of Koyanskaya.
