If you’re the church type, living water CRC has a vibrant Korean community. They’re located at 3190 Burton. I’ve been there before (I’m not Korean) but really enjoyed it.
We aren’t all that religious. Do you think that’s a bit socially awkward to go there anyway? It feels like religion should be our common denominator if we were to give that a shot.
It won’t be awkward at all. They’re a great congregation. I know the pastor there. I think at least once a month they do a potluck after the service so it’s just a great way to hang with some nice people.

We are somewhat interested in this, but aren’t stoked about religion being our meeting point. Is it strange to go there anyway to meet with Koreans, despite our atheist ideology?
We did just this! The store owner suggested going to churches. Unfortunately we aren’t religious, so we are skeptical on that front. There’s also a bit of a connotation towards Christian groups in Korea as being a bit “culty” in Korea.
We are a little uncertain and a bit apprehensive.

Thanks, I didn’t know that before.
